If they are selling up why not offer them use of your lawnmower , incinerator etc to help the sale process along ?

They don't take care of their own property - why would they with ours, people who have had to call the Police on them?

I would never see my lawn mower again that's for damn sure, or if I did it'd be thrown back over the fence in bits.

I took it as a missprint, meaning they were glad they didn't live next door to the stupid neighbour. Maybe I was wrong!

    It was not a missprint

When through the course of your job, you've watched surveillance footage of someone setting fire to their trousers while attempting to break into a shop, you can realistically say to any such question that yes, people really are that stupid. :D

We found our neighbours brother cutting his front lawn with scissors the other day . The only problem was that he is in his late eighties very rocky on his feet cutting the grass holding a wall or the fence is NOT a good idea. We had to reason with him and confiscate the scissors before he harmed himself.
It took my OH three minutes running over the lawn with our lawn mower at least that was safer !! Scissors
    Light travels faster than sound.

This is why some people seem as bright until you hear them.
