I'm back. I'm expecting to resit again in December, it was that bad :o

All the stuff I wanted to see questions on was not what I got questions on, so I had to wing it :o

Thank you to those who wished me luck, I'm sure it helped :)

Is there a techie person here that can offer a suggestion regarding my computer (not throughing it out of the window just yet )

Yesterday there was a message for the administrator to input the password. It wouldn't take any of the passwords I have used on it  DS4 said he didn't put a password on so I turned comp off

Today I pressed the start button but comp won't start up, just a flashing green light on the front of the tower  Screen won't light up either and has an orange light showing on the front.

I'm not techie minded and don't understand technical speak :o and don't know where to start. Helppppppppp please if you can

Not an expert but can you tell me the computer make, model and operating system (eg Windows 7)?

Sorry if it's a bit boring for some but out of interest I phoned the person in Education Welfare who handles penalty notices for taking kids on hols in term time. He said that even in Cornwall (!) the penalty is £60 per child, per parent. So £240 for 2 kids, 2 parents. Apparently not that many of them get issued down here but he said the new guidance might change that and it was a hot topic with lots of schools phoning up for advice.

oh dear, my 2 are going to be ill this Friday and Monday, with tonsilitus and sleepness nights I think, we are off to Butlins Minehead, luckily they are at different schools.

    Afternoon Elite!

Can I ask if anyone else is waiting for the get reading with topcashback to track? I bought a book through the correct link last night but no sign of it tracking yet:( I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't free!

I'm in the same boat. I followed the link for 'old' members and zilch has showed up.

Don't beat yourself up over it. Wait and see and you might be pleasantly surprised

I've given up second guessing how exams go. The ones I think I've aced I tend to fail or scrape by, the ones I think are dire somehow turn out OK

Hi, I think some people on the grabbit board were saying up to 48hrs.

Maybe so - but I've been waiting 4/5 days now and still nothing.
