    Sorry if it's a bit boring for some but out of interest I phoned the person in Education Welfare who handles penalty notices for taking kids on hols in term time. He said that even in Cornwall (!) the penalty is £60 per child, per parent. So £240 for 2 kids, 2 parents. Apparently not that many of them get issued down here but he said the new guidance might change that and it was a hot topic with lots of schools phoning up for advice.

    I'm already booked for next year and my 3 boys will all have the flu at the same time;):eek::eek:

    Both of my kids needed a travel jab earlier in the year, never know what your going to pick up at Goodwood :rotfl:

    Thought i'd got away with it, until dd's teacher asked me " how was the festival of speed this year ?" and then " was it better than last years ?" :rotfl:

    Oh dear. Got an email from T's asking me to refrain from opening new accounts and that they are closing some that I've opened :o

    Oh I got done with that a while back :o they didn't email me though. They were just delivering my shopping minus any discount codes I'd used. Im not sure if they closed mine or not?
    Id have thought it silly of them to close accounts because when a respectable amount of time passes you could probably open more......but they are silly :D

    Just lay low for a while :cool:

    Who updates the first post please would it be Fairclaire?

    The price promise info still says you put your receipt in and get the PP back next day and it could be confusing for newbies.

    :beer::)

    I'll go an amend it :)
