Actually TCB have confirmed that existing members can use the deal for £5 off but they must use this link http://www.topcashback.co.uk/get-reading-with-topcashback/
Limited duration so get in quick. I bought 2 nice just published £10 & £8 hardbacks for the kids (in Warrior Cats series) for Xmas for £10 off - it's OK in the T&Cs for 2 TCB a/cs in 1 household to use the offer but obviously do 2 transactions.
If you can find a £5 book or e-book (NOT incl delivery), you'll get it free. Applies to all book sellers on Amazon, not just the Amazon-sold books. Ie they won't pay towards delivery costs.Mrs_stinkface wrote: »Morning all.
Hope everyone is ok.

Having a small vent (if I may)
Today has been pretty crap for me in quite a few ways.
Lost my job today, no real reason, just that they are re-structuring the department and they needed someone with more qualifications than I have.
So to cheer myself up, jumped in the car and hit Tesco's. For the first time they actually had the Cheese Pizzas there, actually felt a little chirpier!
No PP! Didn't have the heart to return them, so just came home feeling doubly sorry for myself! Still, pizza is good comfort food, so I had one for tea tonight.
Things come in three's yeah? Now I think I'm coming down with a cold too!
It has to get better now.
That's a pants day to have right enough. I hope something comes along soon0 -
Morning all
Thank you for the positive messages which I've woken up to. Feeling a bit more positive about things today.
Wackynut, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog, the poem was lovely!

Anyway I am not supposed to be here I am just finishing another big shuffle of my stash and I'm still not dressed.
I seem to have lost my shopping MOJO - the wine and the toothbrush and the BNI pizzas went totally over my head, got none of them. I write down all of the glitch items, 4p 2p and 1p and never find any of them.
I was down to one item for MSL, the bubbly fish so I got that as part of a BM shop yesterday so apart from spending £20 in Farnfood doing a frozen veggie and freezer stock up and another £20 in Morrisons getting more shrubs and bulbs, that's been it for this week.
I've got Tosco conditional spends for £20 and £60 no idea what to use them for and about £20 in APGs, again I could not string a shopping list together if life depended on it.
And it looks like being another odd weekend, no child is due home or at least to pay us a flying visit - this will be only the 2nd weekend in 2 months when we have not been running a free bed and breakfast hostel for waifs and strays :rotfl:
So I'd better get on with it ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Just picked up 7 rump steaks from Morries in the flash sale £7.49/ kg. True enough the till flashes up if you go over 3 items so I did 3 transactions and the till guy gave me a nice wink and we had a chat about beef.
It did strike me that it should compare now with the others since it went live yesterday, though I personally think comparing like for like beef, M is far better than A or T and also ahead of S.0 -

She was really hissy and snappy at me, so I ignored it and went to close up the greenhouse.
She followed me, and as we got to the shed, she stopped and started growling and hissing. We've had problems with another cat so I knew what was what. There is a hole in the bottom of the shed door that mine uses when she's shut out of the house and she's cold or its raining.
I went back and grabbed the keys, and as I put the key in the lock, out shoots this other cat
He went scooting down the garden and over the fence to his house. I could hear him yowling like mine does in the mornings. His "mummy" was in her garden and will have heard me hissing at him to chase him out of my garden. It was almost as though he went home crying to mummy cos a big girl (me) had picked on him :rotfl: :rotfl:
My cat is terrified of him. He picks on her something rotten. He used to come into my house, eat all her food and p.ss all over my furniture. It's obvious that he hasn't been done.
Now he's stealing her safe places
Hi, just catching up and reading your post, just wondering...does your cat wear a collar? Or use a cat flap? Only asking because there are cat flaps that you can buy that have a matching collar with micro chip so the cat flap will only open for your cat iyswim. Kind of like a key fob for a garage door..having said that my cat would never wear a collar she was like a magician the way she managed to take it off, bless

Just an idea:)0 -
