I've managed not to spend anything from my £40 budget for the week. Got shopping today out of the shopping budget....with absolutely no "extras" that would need to come out of spending budget. I think it will be Friday and Saturday that trip me up

Ok - so this is much harder than I thought and I cleary spend much more moeny than I think I do every week on carp!

Sunday - £9.30, lunch and car parking
    Monday - Coffee and a pastry £1.89, lunch £2.90
Today - Coffee and pastry £1.89, itunes album £8.00

Meaning my total for this week so far is £23.98 and I was too lazy to make my lunch this morning so if I am to stay within my budget for this week I need to find lunch for £1.02 and no more spends this week!

    So englightening!

Oh no Smokies sorry to hear that. I hope you get things sorted quickly although I know that's not always easy with water damage. I hope you didn't lose anything too precious.

Well I went to town, I really shouldn't have bothered. I am not impressed with the goodie bag, the 4 free items are all food stuff for age 10 months and over. Babba is only 4 months old. So a waste of time really. I know goodie bags like this are to entice you into buying other things, but i was so disappointed that I didn't stay in Boots. :(

I did pick up a couple of things I needed whilst in town though.

Sun - out for lunch with hubby and baba. (Joint acc) - didn't go as poorly babba. NSD
Mon - health visitor, meeting at work (free lunch) get little man weighed so NSD. - NSD
Tues - going into town, boots have a special baby event, will try not to spend anything. - £9.63 shampoo and conditioner (3for2) small bag of mixed nuts and bottle of water. 4 birthday cards from next £4 = £13.63
Weds - lunch for friends birthday - £20
    Thurs - NSD
Fri - Just arranged to see friends, not sure of plans so £10
Sat - £10 just in case.

    £13.63 / £40
    SPC 18 Target £200 /
  • Smokies- sorry to hear of the flooding, hope everyone is doing ok.

eTo - glad little ETO is feeling better

Shazzer - you're right, it's a bit of a shock when you start tracking everything you are spending.

Well for me I'm doing quite well so far:

    Sunday: NSD
    Monday: NSD
    Tuesday: NSD

Just remembered I'm off to seeJimmy eat world on the weekend, so I will be red as we usually have a pre gig meal.
  • Happy to report another NSD! Also I am now lift sharing with a part time co-worker who offered me (without prompting!) petrol money from next week :) yahoooooo!
