I can confirm it is genuine.
In the particulars of claim they did not circle/delete (attached)(to follow) so I guess that means they aren't sending anything else? If they had evidence are they meant to send it to me? Should I call them?0 -

No you don't call them. You just deal with the court papers as they stand.
That means filing an acknowledgment via MCOL which extends your time for filing your defence to 28 days, if you have not already done so.
You then need to get on and prepare a draft defence using the links already provided to you. Once you have got that far you can post the defence up here for posters to check over if you wish. You may also wish to post on Pepipoo as they have people there who are experienced in dealing with defences.
If you need more information about the particulars of claim in order to defend properly, you make those points in your defence, and then once you have filed the defence, you can follow it up with a formal request for disclosure of documents and/or request for further information. But that comes later. One step at a time. First you need to file your defence. Don't miss the time limit as them the PPC can enter judgement against you.
One final point - did you get a Letter Before Action from GPB before they started legal proceedings, identifying their client as APCOA? (That letter could also have been called Letter Before Claim; Letter of Claim; or Letter Before County Court Claim) but either way, it would have told you that if you did not pay the money owed, APCOA could start court proceedings against you.
That letter must follow a particular format and contain particular information (and we can guarantee it will be defective) so it is worth referring to this in the defence.

Thank you all for your continued help.
Yes I received a letter before claim. In what way can I refer to it being defective?0 -

Have a look at this thread which explains the information that the Claimant must provide in the Letter Before Action. The example on that thread is an LBA/LBCCC from PE, so your LBA will be worded differently, but will almost certainly be defective in a number of respects. You need to understand the significance of their failure to follow the pre-action procedure, so that thread is worth a read

If you post the wording of your LBA here - just the body of the letter, without any identifying features I can help you to incorporate this into your defence.

what are these downloads? Sorry I will not download something I don't trust! If you have images to show, go to photobucket or tinypic and place the links hereWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

As Stroma says, you need to post the wording of the LBA in a format we can access. Just type out the body of the letter omitting any identifying features.
Just as importantly, have you contacted the hospital itself and complained?
See this thread for a list of all the cases since August where posters have been successful in getting the landowner / principal to cancel the charge - including some hospitals

I've already asked the hospital to withdraw but in the meantime I need to submit a defence and would appreciate some help as my deadline is this week.0
