Anybody got any service on the Ovivo network?

Can make outgoing calls, geting "Number not recognized" trying to call my mobile from a landline.

Please please please change the thread title to something like "Is ovivos network down?"

I thought for a second Ovivo had gone bankrupt or something

Our engineers are continuing to work hard to resolve the issues some issues are currently experiencing using some of our outbound services. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our next update will follow at 6pm.

    4:00pm

We are still experiencing issues that may result in some customers having difficulties using the OVIVO network for outbound services. Our teams are still working towards a resolution and we’ll issue another update at 5pm.

    What’s happened?

We’re aware of an issue currently impacting customers on the OVIVO network that may impact your ability to make calls, send texts and use the internet.

Hahaha, I use ovivo quite regularly as a back up phone plus a lot of friends have it on my recommendation. I really really hope they stick around for a long time!

And like mentioned above, Ovivo are doing a lot better than any of the major networks in keeping us updated about the situation.

That would explain why my texts wouldn't send last night without wi-fi being turned on

They say it's all working again,
But any texts sent to you while their network was down will have been lost.

    Does that work?
I never knew that texts could be redirected over Wifi if there was no mobile network signal.

I'm presuming he is referring to iMessages, they will route over WiFi. Normal SMS text messages will not use WiFi, and will fail without a mobile signal.
