The "best" phone depends a lot on what you want, ask 100 techs you'll probably get 100 different answers. Here's mine:
If you prefer Apple: iPhone 5
If you prefer Android, and want the most powerful phone with the shiniest new features: Samsung Galaxy S4
If you prefer Android, but insist on having a hardware QWERTY keyboard: Motorola Droid 4
If you prefer Windows Phone: I have no idea, but it's probably made by Nokia.
If you prefer Blackberry OS: Good luck with that.
Bear in mind that if you move from one platform to another, it's unlikely you'll be able to take your apps with you, so will have to buy them again.
For me the Droid4 is the clear winner, and is what I use myself, but it really is not a phone for everybody.
As for the bloatware on the Android phones, that's what CyanogenMod and AOKP are for, but again these options are not for everybody.0 -
As said above, all depends on what you want the phone for.
Plus the number 1 grips you will always get for an smartphone is battery life, the tech for battery is not keeping up at the same pace as the phones, also the manufactures keep making the phones slimmer, so the first thing to be reduced is the battery.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Nexus is good value, but it doesn't support LTE...
Technically it DOES support LTE (Nexus 4 has a LTE enabled chip)
It's just Google didn't activate it for one reason or another.
In 4.1 you could turn it on in a hidden menu. But in 4.2 and above that option was removed so you have to have a rooted device and change a few files.Laters

Really?
If I remember correctly, that chip support 1700MHz and 2100MHz. I believe UK LTE are 800, 1800, 26000 -
Their is varying results with EE some people have a great 4G others have connection problems, Might be different chip versions.

If you are wanting to stick with an iPhone, just back your existing one up to either your computer or iCloud, and then when you get your new one just restore it.
Easy PeasyIt's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0
