Anyone from Land registry help with forms please

Hi, I need to change my contact address & I recently married so my name with Land Registry. I also want to add my husband name to the title. I have started to fill out the forms and have some queries.
The change of address needs to be sent to the Gloucester address
& the change of name (AP1) is sent to the Wales address plus looks like I also need to get a conveyancer to certify I am who I say I am using ID1.
I am not sure if I should deal with the change of address first, then once that is done deal with the name change? Or is it fine to send of the forms to the separate address?
The more complicated part is adding my husband to the title deeds. I want both our names to be on them, no money is changing hands. I am completing TP1 which I believe to be the correct form? I am a little lost with what sections are relevant to what I want to do. Plus do I have to fill in another ID1 to certify who I am?
Apologies for all the question but I want to get this right, using a conveyancer is not an option as they charge so much.

Is there a mortgage on the property? If there is, this will rule out DIY as you will have to comply with the lender's requirements. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0

suestew - as Valhaller states if the property is mortgaged then your lender will insist on you using a conveyancer if they agree to the change
If unmortgaged then it is form TR1 you requrie and not TP1 as that form is used for transferring part of the property e.g. garden rather than part of the legal ownership of the whole property.
ID evidence will be requried for both you and your husband as per the completion notes which are available along with the forms online
The change of address aspect can be dealt with as part of that same application as the application form AP1 and form TR1 have panels which require the address details to be added/confirmed.
You do not have to make a separate application to the Gloucester Office in such circumstances“Official Company Representative

hi all, sorry I forgot to mention no mortgage on the property.
so I will deal with the change of name (AP1) along with form TP1 and take to a conveyancer to confirm identity and can send together? Do I put my maiden name on Form TP1?
I will probably be back with more questions later if you don't mind? I did phone LR but lady confused me a bit but that's not hard :-)0 -
suestew - it's a TR1 you need and not a TP1 though
And whilst the process is relatively straightforward it can get complicated trying to cover all the bases re form filling and identity etc
I would suggest printing the forms off and completing them as far as possible in pencil, working through the completion notes as you go.
You should use your current name on the forms and if different to that which is registered lodge an official copy of your marriage certificate
To complete the registration we would need the form TR1 and ID forms to be lodged together along with the official copy of the marriage certificate and any other required/relevant papers and the fee.“Official Company Representative

Hi thanks for reply & really appreciate guidance on this. I feel I am studying for an exam J
From your reply and the notes I have read on TR1 I can use the form for name change too by putting my new name on form and then include proof such as marriage cert or in my case a deed pole?
Section 5 Transferee: So obviously I put my husband’s name but do I also add mine too? Otherwise it looks to me like I am transferring everything to him? Plus the address I put here will be the address that is updated on the title for both of us? There actually isn’t a section to put my current address on the TR1 you only add the property address & the transferee’s address.
Section 8: Consideration - I assume this comes under a ‘gift’ and therefore ‘transfer is not for money etc. needs to be ticked?
Sections 10 – as I want us to have joint ownership and not a share I put an X in the first box (to hold the property on trust for themselves as joint tenants)
I found the below online and this is exactly what we are after:
“Beneficial joint tenants” means the property belongs to the owners jointly. All owners must act ogether as a single owner, for example on a remortgage or a sale. Beneficial joint owners do not own specific shares in the property and cannot give away a share of the property in a will. In the event of death, the deceased’s interest inthe property passes automatically to the surviving owner or owners.
Section: 11 Additional provisions: I don’t see any reason to fill this in tbh.0 -
5.Your name goes down as transferor, both names as transferees.
8.yes
10. If this is what you want.
11. Leave blank0 -

Many thanks jayencee and looks like you are now sorted.
The forms can be quite challenging but the terms and information required are necessary from a legal perspective.
Filling them in can be quite a test at times but clearly you have got a very good grasp of what is required so looks like you have passed with flying colours!
Obviously until we receive the complete application we cannot be sure everything is right but if not someone will be in touch to resolve/clarify.“Official Company Representative

It does look like I am sorted now, I am only using form TR1 to get my husbands name on the title and to change my name and will include my original deed pole. I will also provide a ID1 form completed by a solicitor, only thing I am unsure on is if I have to have an ID1 for my husband too? Do you know if that is the case?
thanks again for help0
