Adventures of a Fat Cat, Old Nag and their Trusty Servant

Just one story for you today.
I was getting ready for work, putting on a bit of mascara. Colin was sitting by the radiator watching me.
I put on my dress, Colin was sitting by the radiator watching me.
I put on a necklace and earrings, Colin was sitting by the radiator watching me.
Colin said meep
I looked at at Colin sitting by the radiator watching me and realised he had stuck his paw down the back of the radiator, hooked his claws into a loose bit of wallpaper and was stuck  He wouldn't retract his claws and I was having a moments panic thinking I would have to call an emergency plumber to come and remove the radiator to release the daft moggy. After crawling round and looking at it from all angles I decided I could lift him so that the wallpaper would slide off his claws. However, to do this entailed lifting him up in an upside-down position. It had to be done. The upside-down cat was released and ran down the hall to see if his food bowl had been miraculously filled.
I continued to get ready. Put on my boots, looked across and Colin was sitting by the radiator watching me with his sodding paw down the back of the radiator again....
Before leaving the house I shut the bedroom door with Colin on the hall side of the door...

Oh dear poor Colin, perhaps he was just trying to have your company for longer. Tears running down my face laughing (sorry), unfortunately that caused a coughing fit, that'll teach me!
Most annoyed I cannot get smilies to work, inadvertently pc was updated to I.E. 11, haven't been able to do them since, co-incidence I wonder? The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Oh dear sounds like he didn't want you to go to work. His very own version of chaining himself to the railings in protest
Hope he and the wallpaper survived unscathed while you were out
