It was this table from Q&B but it's blue not brown. It was reduced to £20 as it has a small scratch on the leg. I would have paid £29 for it as it's nice and solid, not flimsy and it folds flat to go in the shed during the winter. I didn't like the chairs that go with it, but I already have some nice chairs that will go with it well, in a lovely mismatched fashion. Note to self: they need painting......Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Oh bless you my dearest blue friend:rotfl:I tend to change letters round on retailers so we're not giving them free advertising or having them contact you, that has happened on a few threads. See what you can make with the three letters in Q&B:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am hopelessly behind on everyone's diaries. I am going to have to leap in and join in again and hope I haven't missed anything world shattering. Still, that will be tomorrow as today is the last lunchtime shift. I'll work until seven then tomorrow is the last evening shift, in fact the last shift there ever:eek:
It's natural to feel apprehensive about a new job so I'll just deal with it. I really want this one to be the one that I can stay with. In two years there's been two part time jobs, one full time, one part time self employed and a stint of unemployment signing on:( Doesn't look good on paperBut we're not living my life on paper, are we?
Time to get a move on. Back tomorrow or later perhaps...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Hello Piq
Sorry I have been AWOL, you sound as if the best thing in the world has happened re the job. I know what you mean about "on paper" but it can be neatly summarised as "extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, coupled with horticultural design projects"
Really hope the new job is all you want. Table sounds fab and the project "level ground" even better!
Glad boys and Colin all OK and enjoying. Long may the happiness continue x xStart info Dec11

I hope your last shift goes well.
Don't worry too much about those temporary jobs, maybe put them on your CV as short term contracts
I'm doing well thanks, recovering surely if not a little slowly. I've handed in my notice at work so won't be going back before redundancy kicks in. Scary stuff but definitely the right decision. We've just got back from an overnight stay near to the location of my new office and the drive home in the awful rain was horrendous and made me glad I don't have to do it there and back 2+ days a week.
Anyway I wish you every happiness in your new employment
Have a good weekend

Aw, good luck with new job Piq. You're right though, we're not living on paper, and you'll certainly look adaptable and ready for any working environment
Fingers crossed you won't need a CV for a few years anyway
