ThanksI will try and go sometime next week before my voucher runs out and have a look
see how big they are as only myself and little girl eat meat. How much were they?

They were 9.99 each up to a weight of 2.4kgs. I have a feeling they
were 8.99 last year?? but 9.99 is still an amazing price for them compared to what the other stores charge . I don't know how much they are in Lidl's it sounds as if Lidl's have their act together already regarding their christmas food but at least my Aldi's have nothing cept for the crowns.xXx-Sukysue-xXx0 -

I had a look at the Lidl "Deluxe" range today and some excellent stuff (pack of 6 different jars of pates look good).
I'll have a look at the Aldi "Specially Selected" stuff later in the week and plan on what to buy.
I think I'll be buying lots of my Xmas "goodies" from the above shops. They aren't cheap, but aren't too expensive for premium products.
I think you could make up a decent hamper from those two shops alone with their premium products.

So excited, we are getting our first Aldi in the area, opening in November, just in time for Christmas. In fact, they are opening two in the area but this one is going to be finished first.
Now we have Asda round the corner, a big and a little Tesco within walking distance, 2 Sainsburys within easy driving distance, M&S and they are opening a huge Morrisons in a year or so.
Our area isn't really upmarket so no Waitrose yet, we have a twenty minute drive to get there for treats.
But, saying that, three houses in our street have sold in the last three or four weeks so I think things are on the up. They seem to be opening new restaurants too.
Can't wait for Aldi. I will be first in the queue.0 -
I can recommend the Lidl chocolate coated gingerbread in the heart shape and apricot centre. Delicious! Wont last the week never mind until Christmas...0
