Right, I've managed to hide most of my videos at the mo from the kids (DS is on a one boy mission to seek and destroy all my possessions) so will have a dig a little later on.

I know I have Rosemary Conleys Ultimate Whole Body Workout on VHS if anyone fancies giving it a go - it is quite good actually. :)

oh oh oh can I join in???

weighed myself yesterday, currently at 11st 3lbs. Ideally I could lose two stone, fingers crossed. yesterday I had a quick workout before work. 20 mins at 3.5mph on the treadmill then a round on the vibrogym. today I'm going to have a swim before work, planning on about 30 lengths (20m). ALso brisk walk to and from work, one hour total.

    food plan for today
brekkie - weetabix (2) with milk
lunch - tomatoes, babycorn, half carrot and potato salad
dinner - egg fried rice (forgot to take curry out of freezer  )

    good luck everyone!

my one tip however is the weekly weigh in, a womans weight varies due to her cycles so don't feel too downhearted if one week you struggle, look from one month to the next to get a good view of how your doing :D

  • im here i am here wave2.gif sorry all logged off to try and get some of my cross stitch done... ummm i need to lose at least 7st :o but i would love to just lose 5st... i hope this challenge kick starts me... my downfall is the vendors at work... it eats my money and only dispenses sugary rubbish, i seem to spend my whole weekly challenge money at work in vendors... this has to change though... i hope that documenting everything and excersising will remove this...

i do however have a wall to break through though i have pcos so losing weight for me is harder than it sounds, however i will do this and we all will beat lenny :rotfl:

my comsuption will be listed and i am hoping to transfer to soups/salads for packed lunches etc this will cost a fair bit more as what i pay within house keeping is for general salt/fatty foods so i will need to pay for fruit/different foods, however it should be less than £40.00 per month... my excersise will be my dvd, walking to work, running around the house like a mad woman and i am hoping to buy an excersise bike...

good luck all and keep updating this thread :T

    My plan for today:
had biscuits for brekkie (pre-plan so it doesn 't count)
lunch - probably beans on toast - scrap that, I have leftover tatties and mince in the freezer, I'm gonna have that! Mmmmm
evening meal - tuna pasta surprise when I get back from mountain biking

Just for you then snaggles :D

    1 medium onion chopped
150ml of veg or chicken stock
2 tblsp very low fat marg
    3 tblsp plain flour
    300ml skimmed milk
    50g reduced fat cheddar grated
    1 tsp dried mustard
    225g macaroni (dry weight)
    4 smoked turkey rashers
    3 or 4 tomatoes sliced
    few leaves of basil
    1 tbsp parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper

put chopped onion and stock into a frying pan, bring to boil for 5-6 mins, stirring occasionaly.
Put marg, milk and flour in a saucepan, whisk together over medium heat until thick and smooth, take off the heat and add mustard, onion and cheese (cheddar)
meanwhile cook the macaroni in boiling water according to pack.
Put the grill on a high heat
when macaroni is cooked, drain and stir into the sauce, place into a shallow ovenproof dish, arrange the turkey rashers and tomatoes in 'lines' across the top with basil leaves in the overlap, sprinkle with the parmesan and grill until lightly brown.
Yummy! real comfort food for days when you are hungry and want junk :D
