Hey everyone - can I just say a big thank you to everyone on this thread - I have been trying on some of my hol clothes and while they aren't amazing, I don't think anyone will run screaming at the sight of me (I hope lol). This is down to you lot really as with all the stuff that's happened recently I could have just thought sod it and eaten loads. However, seeing how people have been going on here has given me motivation to stick to my SW diet and I've seen the effects at my classes.

    So thanks everyone :)

Weller and Andy - glad to hear you're home.

sea - have a great holiday

Lucy - stop being so bloomin hard on yourself - look at your total weight loss - 4 stone 2lbs in a year is amazing :T

I'm going to weigh in tomorrow - wonder what my first week on Slimming World has done.

Feeling great so far though, not like dieting. The only problem so far was Tuesday when we went out for the day. Lunch was going to be a jacket spud, beans no butter, but they had run out of potatoes. Ended up with a ham and mozzarella panini :o

I lost 1 and a half pounds  Very please with this, just got to keep it up now. But I am going to try for a mainly red week and see what happens. But I am feeling much better about it all now.

    So for today:

    2 weetabix + skimmed milk
apple and yogurt (out of banana's  )
Ham salad followed by something I'm sure!
HM Chicken Hotpot with veg and some new potato's

Then I have to do loads of housework as my mother comes back from holiday tomorrow morning and I haven't cleaned the house in over a week :o Now I have lots to do

Luckily, I'm feeling much better today.

I ate just rice, potatoes and some bread yesterday (oh, and 2 pints of homebrew cider - ahem) and it had no ill effect so I'm hoping it has all calmed down.

Well done on the loss Lucy - I found red weeks really speeded up the loss but I ended up getting withdrawal sypmtoms for pasta and rice!

    I'm glad your feeling better.

I've had to schedule in 2 green days as I can't manage a whole week, but I do loose more. I normally try this every so often, so longer as it has the desired result. Although I have hear that having a red day the day before weigh in can help as you don't tend to hold so much water.

No idea if it works but, it's worth a try!
