Ztd, I've never seen that thread before - thanks for that, I might just give it a go for August! Hubby will kick and scream no doubt lol!

Probably! Our only slight problem might be that we use a lot of quorn, because none of us eat a lot of meat, so unfortunately it's not as simple as popping to the local butchers, but I'm sure we can work round that."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hi Guys.
Feeling much better, getting back on track and I am in control of my food!!
Got on the scales this morning and nearly had the shock of my life looked like I've lost about 5 lbs!!! And I am not really sure how. Hopefully it will last until Thursday night when I have offical weigh in. But so far today I have eaten:
Weetabix with skimmed milk
Beans with half fat cheese toasty and an apple.
Tonight I will be making quorn spag bol which I will make enough to do several meals.
Oh and on a DFW note I'm going to go under the £9,500 mark this month!!! I'm very excited about it.
Have a good week xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Lucy, that's brilliant - hope it stays off! Mmmmm, quorn spag bol, my favourite!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I don't really like meat, but hubby doesn't really like the 'chick pea and lentil' type of vegetarian food, so it's a sort of compromise. And it's low fat lol!
Why do you not like meat? Taste? Texture? "Reactions"?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Prime seasoned beef? Proper burgers - not meatabix."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Keren - I love the chickpea/lentil sort of things too, although I'm not very good at cooking them lol (this *may* be why hubby doesn't like them??
).
ZTD - I don't really like the taste of red meat, although I can manage chicken/turkey/fish. I can't cope with any bits of fat/gristly bits, if any get in my mouth it makes me gag, so it's safer to just avoid it altogether. I try and have fish sometimes though because of the health benefits. Although I mainly like things like tuna, so I'll have fabulously clear arteries but die of lead poisoning....!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
