I've been thinking, we all seem to be having a hard time at the moment with this diet lark. So, I was wondering if we pick a day of the week that we call our cheat day, on that day you can have anything you want on the other days you can make a list of all the things you think you'll fancy, chinese, cake (in my case) anything but cottage cheese and radishes. It might help us to get past the wanting to cheat on the rest of the days if we can plan a big cheat in a few days? I dunno just a thought, I might try it anyway.
The other thing I was thinking is there is a book I read once called the 7 secrets of thin people. This is basically along the same lines of the Paul Mckenna theory.
The basic idea is that no food is forbidden. You can always eat whatever you want but, the rules are.
1) you only eat when you're really hungry
2) you sit down to eat and notice every mouthful (eat slowly and not on the run)
3) you stop eating when you're satisfied... not full
4) you eat exactly what you fancy, if you want chocolate cake but have a salad you won't have satisfied that craving so, eat cake until you're satisfied because if you deny yourself you're heading for a binge later.
Might be worth thinking about:A
