Yeah, can't wait - I'll read anything though, I'm not very discerning! Need to finish The Time Travellers Wife first though, I'm half way through it and it's great but I'm not getting much reading time at the moment lol.

    morning all!

I ended up having 2 Magners and 2 glasses of wine last night. Got to go on the marina pontoon jetty wotsit though to see their boat which was quite cool but even at 27 ft it was dwarfed by all the big posh boats huddled around it!

    Food today

    breakfast - jug of smoothie
    lunch - cheese on toast
dinner - pork bolognaise with pasta

Oh I absolutely loved that book! Wished I hadn't read it so I could read it again.

In true MSE style pap, when you've read it pm me what happens so I don't need to buy the book myself:D

I've been bad money wise today. I sold a bass amp on ebay for £625, and I should have used the cash to pay a few bills, but I've been wanting to get my daughter a new buggy for ages. She's 10 (on aug 1st) but has special needs. Social services gave her a buggy a couple of years ago but it's awful, she's dead uncomfortable in it. She doesn't qualify for another one because she can walk, but her autism means she can often freak out in strange places so really needs to security of her buggy.

So, I just spent nearly all of the money I got today on a new buggy for her, which should last for a good few years. I've had my eye on it for ages since one of my friends with a special needs child got one.

I got it for £399 delivered from ebay though which I thought was ok. I've been saving up for about 3 months for it, have £110 in my buggy bank, so I guess it wasn't too bad. But some bills will need to wait for a week or two now.

Anyway, food yesterday was plain awful. including chocolate fudge cake and a mcdonalds (even though I hate mcds). But I was working and there really was nothing else.

    So, today

    Cappuccino
bagel with salad and cream cheese
Chicken fajita (which I didn't have yesterday)

Well having had a look at it - it seems OK. I've noted the words
The Baby Jogger Freedom Advanced Mobility Stroller is designed for larger children and adults
which should mean it will last for some time. If you'd spent less on something that would only have been good for a few months, then I would have slapped your legs...

    And no...not in time.

Hello peeps! I am up mega earlier today (alright mega early for me!) as I am off for a run in 1/2 hour or so! Think I told some of you guys about signing up to run the Cardiff half marathon in October and how I couldn't even run after a bus, so am effectively learning to run! Am on the end of week 2 now so need to run for just over 30 minutes. Had a funny five minutes the other day and decided to sign up for the Castle Coombe 5K race at the start of August, cause by then I should be able to run for 45 mins or so so I will find it hard but at least it will give me a little taster of what to expect in October! Have managed to coax my little bro into running too so we are gonna do it together! All he wants is a t-shirt that says 'I ran the Castle Coombe 5K' on it...I know what he means...one day I would love a 'runners' t -shirt! Anyhooos, foodies yesterday was well boring as spent most of yesterday going ape at my bank over an account with my ex...read here for that story!

And watching Harry Potter! Which was good! Had Shredded Wheat for brekkie, lunch was tuna and cucumber sarnie on WM bread, tea ended up just being some noodles as we were back late. Did treat myself to a options hot chocolate and a curly wurly though...think I needed it after yesterday! Today, same Shredded Wheat...not literally the same ones as yesterday but you know what I mean! Lunch will probably be an omelette as have loads of eggs to get rid off! Tea is going to be Chicken Legs, New Pots and fresh veg. Right need to get outta here and warm up ready for this run! Take care everyone! Luv the kebabmeister xxx
