I'm going to burn some calories too tonight Snaggs - in a lovely way, well you have to celebrate an anniversary don't you ;)

Well done on the walking - thats amazing :T Think I'd have to stop after 15 minutes :o
Woooo....have a good night, wont you!! ;) Happy Anniversary :T

I'm quite impressed with the walking too, normally the furthest I walk is from the front door to the car lol! I'm actually enjoying it though, even in the rain. I think I've pushed my luck a bit today though, my spd hasn't fully gone yet, and I've just got up to nip into the kitchen and ouch, everything hurts!!! :rotfl:

Well done with the walking snaggles, I lost all of my baby weight by walking for miles with the pram, the only way I could get the monsters to shut up:rotfl:

This really is one of those days for me, have you ever just clean forgotten a bank passcode? I've used it daily for 3 years and suddenly I can't think for the life of me what it is. How annoying is that? Hope it comes to me later.

Lol, that's partly why I've walked so far today Toto - she's had her jabs and is NOT a happy girl!

Hope your day starts to get better soon. I can't imagine you shouting and waving your arms at your OH, you always seem so calm and reasonable (I'm sounding like Dithering Dad now aren't I :)). Good to get it out of your system though.

  • extrememly off topic but all of you seem to be the closest people i am too at the momment to ask for serious advice, and i dont want to dig out my diary... so...

my driving test is in 3 weeks time, i have spotted a car (the same as my mums which i love driving) its priced at £699 ~ 1995 ~ N but insuance fully comp on provisional licence will be £703 so more than the car but once i pass it will be £650ish. Now mum says wait untill i have passed, once i have passed i will be added to my mums insurance untill i find a car but may only be able to drive once a week. But i am really tempted. What would you do wait? hope to find something cheaper (either car/insurance)? forget about it untill i have the pink card? ~ some little facts incase you dont know... i have spent 3k on driving lessons, one theory test and one normal test (the one i am taking)... I have been quoted £800 to be placed on mums insurance... most quotes i have ran (on comparison websites) for lots of cars have thrown back £900+... no one cares about if i get a car or not (my sister was push and pushed untill she passed and there is no interest from my mother for me to pass)... i have a 89% chance to pass my driving instructor says if i fail it will be due to another road user or my nerves (although i am tackling this)... so opinions please?

if people feel this shouldnt be discussed here please let me know and i will edit/deleate the post :D

Don't be silly pap of course you can discuss this here, blimey you just need to look at my daily drivel to know anything goes here.

I suppose my question with the car is, can you afford it? There's nothing wrong with buying one now if you know you can comfortably afford the car, tax, insurance, mot, petrol, repairs. If you're going to struggle to pay for it all then I would say wait until you have passed, keep saving and do it when you can. I wouldn't worry about not being able to find another car as good as this one, there will always be more.

If you do decide to buy it, first of all please please spend a little money to get someone to check the car. The AA do a service, I know it costs a few quid but it could save you a fortune. I bought 2 cars which looked perfect, both were expensive nightmares. I'll never buy again without getting a professional to test it first.

was the french stick lovely z?

Dry as a stick, but with a throat that felt it had been wire-brushed out, it didn't really matter.

Aww thanks snags, I do have a bit of a temper though if you push me far enough. OH has seen it 2 or 3 times, usually I am quite chilled but stupidity on a grand scale will push me to erupt.

Sorry poor natasha's grumpy with her jabs. Poor little thing, I hope she gets over them quickly, mine always got fevers and god knows what, but them my kids have always loved to make a drama out of everything.

YAY I remembered my passcode, things are looking up. Now, just to log in and find a few hundred grand I'd clean forgotten I had:rotfl:

I like how this is the intermission...

Did someone ring a bell? Round two...ding!
