welcome in snaggles, it's cool if no one wants to add anything to their budget I was just trying to keep it debt/money related so we don't get moved. I am sticking to £15 for me though because I am awful at getting sucked in to diet marketing, pop this vitamin, eat lard and lose 100lbs overnight, you know the kind of thing.

I'm not sure sea - I'm drinking far more than usual (water...not wine lol!), but I'm still thirsty a lot of the time. I'll try keeping a bottle of water with me all day and see if that helps.

Ooop, I see your point about the budget Toto - right, well I'm not adding anything to my budget because I'll throw the money I would have normally spent on diet foods, supplements etc at my car loan instead! :p

    :)

I know what you mean - I am going to have to be careful that if I get into the healthy way of life that I don't use this as an excuse to then spend more on that much needed magazine on running or healthy eating, or on 'health' foods, which is why I'm aiming to keep my groery budgets the same. The only thing that will cost is SW class cost, but I have paid in advance for a while now so don't need to worry about that.

Of course, with all this weight we're losing, we;re going to have to be careful not to go mad with shopping for new clothes. i have several items of clothing just waiting for the new me in my wardrobe :)

You'll be fine, it's much better with support anyway! It is about become debt free.. I can now buy much smaller clothes (love Primark) I can now buy a whole outfit for £11.50 and that included 2 pairs of flip flops!!! When your bigger you spend more because they charge more!

And it's cheaper to buy and apple than it is to buy a packet of crisps (well thats what I tell myself)
    Current debt - £16,300 :(

My new wardrobe is very MSE - I've got all types of clothes in all types of sizes already!!! I think the only time I'd have to buy more is in about 5 or 6 stones time and even then I've got a few bits i'd bought last time I dieted 'to slim into' that I didn't get anywhere near.

Can I join in this challenge please?

I'm 5ft 10 and hovering around the 12 stone mark at the minute and would ideally like to get down to about 10 st 7 lb, so that's 21 lb's for me too! I'll keep my budget at what it is currently, which is between £25 and £30 a week for OH & myself (but that's food & household), but I'll try and make it so that more of the budget is spent on fruit, we already eat loads of veg.

My exercise is already fairly good, I go mountain biking a couple of times a week but I'll try and increase my mileage and on the days inbetween I'll use my crosstrainer which will actually help my cycling strength too, and I'll make low fat muffins and flapjacks to eat on the rides instead of mars bars.

I hope this works - I'd really like to get down to my fighting weight again!

And an added benefit is that you expend more energy eating and digesting an apple than you actually gain from it! So by eating an apple you're guaranteed not to put weight on!! :D
