Please stop worrying about being charged with anything and court and prison! None of this will happen, I know you will not stop worrying until it is all over but honestly from what you have said you have more chance of winning the lottery than anything criminal happening
As said before best of luck to you and I look forward to reading how it all went later"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -
Good luck too - perhaps your parents can back you up about the gifting of money from them.
I have also noticed that whilst you have ticked yourself off about having his mail to your address, whenever someone has asked if you have sorted it to go elsewhere you have not replied. When you next see him, ask if he wants it sent to his mum or elsewhere. You MUST sort this out. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

It may very well be his previous Ex who has informed especially if he doesn't give the child he has we her the attention yours gets and doesn't pay her maintenance either. I wouldn't worry about that though just tell the truth and you'll be fine.
Giving them his mum's address isn't really going to help though is it as you have said he only stays there occasionally. So it will still look like he is at yours. They need information on where he really lives/stays most of the time ie the new girlfriends.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
im not trying to put the cat amongst the pigeons but ....
has everyone else forgotton that the OP's parents give her money on a regular basis which the OP puts into her bank account?
as she will have tp produce bank statements, this extra money will obviously show up.
as it is a regular 'gift' it could well be classed as income
No it won't - regular gifts are disregarded in full. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -

Any income from voluntary sources, such as friends or family, is disregarded for benefits purposes

When I was investigated a few years back the investigator already had bank statements from both of my banks at the interview, so the OP will only have to account for where the money came from.0 -
How did you get on, all sorted? Hope it went well0

Where had they got your statements from?"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -
Income that I got from a family member to help me out after I got made redundant wasn't counted as income for hb purposes. There's been some debate on the boards on other threads re this but my local council allow family members to transfer money into a bank account and it doesn't count as income as its not earned. They had copies of my bank statements. Not for an interview but for a claim I made for housing benefit.0
