It's my birthday today...

:bdaycake::bdaycake: to me:D my youngest made me a hamper, very MSE :) he also made me a farm with animals in, with playdooh, I don't know how to upload photos otherwise I would show them, they are so perfect, so extra special because he spent ages making them, there is a giraffee, a lion, a zebra, a cat,a pig, a stingray, they are so beautiful:D

My MIL made me a handmade card, must have taken ages, it's truly beautiful, homemade , thoughtful, I am very lucky:D

My son made me a card telling me how much he thinks of me:D that's going in the box of memories.

When I went to the chiropodist yesterday he said 'oh I see it's your birthday tomorrow or do we not mention birthdays at your age anymore?':rotfl::rotfl: Yes we do, I know I am very old but I am very lucky;)

What's the best ever homemade present you have had?

    Happy birthday!

Hmm haven't really received any homemade presents, only given them myself. Does a homemade dinner count? Most birthdays my OH makes me a three course swanky dinner as we always enjoy it more than going out. He only does this if I'm working my birthday though, but he literally drops me off at work and then spends all day in the kitchen prepping. It's really lovely.

    Happy birthday Victory...

My best birthday present was when I was 5 my Dad made me a dolls house and my Mum decorated it to replicate our house...it took them months to create in secret...it was made from off cuts of wood that they had used when decorating our house and was absolutely beautiful.

    Happy Birthday Victory.

My best home made present was an album that my sister spent ages making. It was a wedding present and each page told the story of ex OH and my life together. She had cartoon strips, stickers, photos , all sorts.

One page was when we broke up from uni and had a summer apart. She joined to phone stickers on each page and put pictures and photos of what we both had done that summer.

She spent ages doing it, asking my questions( unknown to me) to get all of the stories.

Its a shame it ended in divorce! Lol

Happy birthday Victory. I hope you have a wonderful day.:)

I'm so glad your family made such an effort.

I got sent a food/wine hamper from Australia once. I loved it!
