Typical... I just bought a Huawei Y300 dual core, mind you it did only cost £60 upgrade + £10 + £10 for a 16gb micro sd card, usig my ASDA Payg sim with it.

weefifer on HUKD is saying you CAN unlock this, by phoning 789 on the phone you want unlocked, but they charge you £15.32. Not confirmed, though.

You can also get it for 20% off in-store if you're a Virgin Media customer which takes it to £71.99, but you still have to buy the £10 top-up (works for two new phones per account). Apparently you can "borrow" a friend's account details for this discount, but I wouldn't condone such tomfoolery...

And it has a "big, bright" notification LED, unlike the Huawei Y300's "pinhole" (my boyf has the Y300, so I've seen it for myself).

It has a Compass too (again, unlike the Y300) and the expandable memory makes it a winner for me. Just need confirmation about unlocking...
