It's a bit more expensive but I think the Nexus 4 for £159 is just about the best value phone out there if you look at quality vs cost.0

The nexus doesn't have a memory card slot so that's a big problem for many people0

It could well be, we will see when/if unlocking catches up with it, ZTE's are usually well supported by modding.
How much do Virgin customise? could make it a bit naff to use until someone comes up with a root solution so it can be cleaned up.
Decent battery too, may need it though!European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0 -
I'm looking for a fairly basic phone under £100. I have a monthly contract with Virgin. Does anyone know how this would work if I bought this phone? Sorry for the simple question but I don't use mobiles much and only want a better phone for a decent keyboard for texting.
Thanks if anyone can help.0 -

You do realise you can change the keyboard if you're not happy with the one installed....assuming you're already using an android smartphone.
The play store is full of alternatives0 -
Thanks but I have a very old phone.
I was just wondering if I can get a PAYG phone whilst on a Sim only deal and if so how it would work.
Not really into phones as you can probably tell!0 -

I think you would have to put £10 credit on the sim they supply but then you're free to swap your own sim in.....I think
I'm sure some others can give you more info or maybe ask Virgin themselves0 -

Yes.
You buy the phone
The phone arrives at your house.
In the box there is the phone and a NEW sim card.
You can give the NEW sim card to a friend or sell it on (it comes with £10 credit)
Open the back of your phone and take YOUR sim card out of your old phone.
Put YOUR sim card in the new ZTE Blade and you're set
(Make sure your sim only has a data plan if you want to use the internet)0 -
I search lots about this phone, but i don't get good reviews about it, so i think its not a good phone.0
