I've always dreamed of having an outdoor WINTER wedding.
Quite simply - am I mad?
Someone please give me belief in my winter wonderland or stop me before I book my venue next week!
Yes - quite frankly you are.
You (and all of your guests) will be freezing cold, not to mention wet & soggy if it rains/snows.
You'll be utterly miserable unless you are supremely lucky to get one of those crisp, cold days, and then you'll just be frozen.
Have it indoors, please!I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.0 -
Well I've gone and done it, we're all booked in for December 2014 at Wentbridge House and we're incorporating lots of the great ideas from this thread! So excited.
I have to say that Wentbridge House have been amazing and have suggested all sorts of ways to make the day a magical one. can't wait now!Getting married in Dec 2014 - Tiny Budget, [STRIKE]Big[/STRIKE] No Ideas0 -

Congratulations, I hope it all works out for you
In an ideal world I would have had an outdoor wedding at this little ruin of a castle overlooking the beach when my parents live - but alas, it's not legal. I contemplated an outdoor ceremony elsewhere though, but I didn't want to get my heart set on it only for there to be horrible weather on the day and us have to do it inside instead. Fingers crossed for you!0
