You have such a great attitude to your health Goldie. It really shines through on your thread - and - you are being so positive here. Enjoy the tuna!

    Thank you:)

I'm so glad I started my diary when I did, it's helped me so much to write about what's going on. And everybody's support has been fanstastic:)

Carrots, celery, leeks onions and potatoes turned into a leek and potato soup. Added some chicken from the freezer for protein and about 8 portions of soup going back into freezer. Nearly there now! Just the tins cupboard to go.
Ocado order done for next week but the plan is now to use up the tins and be more mindful about buying tins of butter beans, chick peas and other types of beans. (we have a rather large stash if the world runs out the Watty household may be the cause!)

Just catching up with your diary from the beginning so I may be some time :o

Sounds like you are working well towards your aim of being mortgage free - off to bring myself up to speed and no doubt liberate some of your ideas ;)

No MFW news. Quite the opposite I suspect :) I mentioned baby had piddled off with me more than once so asked lovely instructor to come and tell me what she thought was going on. After hopping on herself to have a feel she calmly said he was not right at all and she wanted the saddle off so she could check him. Found slight lameness right front, heat in leg, sore shoulder, sore under neck and most odd but massive amount of bruising in mouth. She is certain I couldn't have done the bruising pulling reins when he piddled off so goodness knows what he has done.
Equine chiropractor booked for Monday, Equine dentist booked for Tuesday and pain killers administered Tuesday and Wednesday and will give another this evening.
    Poor baby.
Spent yesterday out working so not much done at home, and, got stuck in traffic, so ended up buying food at motorway service station on way home. £10 spent for a not very nice curry!
Whoops a bit of a gloomy post. On the bright side freezer stash completed. Last of the soups frozen. Now just have to remember to at least once a week cook a couple of meals in large enough quantities to fill freezer and should be set for winter easily.
Did note that I ran out of steam on the declutter despite using counting and somehow stopped that but that I kept to 'operation freezer fill' daily and completed it. So think that might be the way to go, smaller chunks.

Thanks Greent. Am really pleased with the fill the freezer plan.

Totally tired this morning. Spent yesterday in London as was asked to deliver the keynote speech at a graduation. Was so nervous couldn't figure out how to get there and spent £15 on a taxi and was so relieved it was over £12 on a taxi to get back to the mainline station.
Hardly MSE! The only saving grace was that I can at least claim those as a business expense.
There was a lovely afternoon tea afterwards and I did spy the leftovers and rather wished I had a 'leftover collection box' in my handbag but Mr Watty tells me VIP guests shouldn't really raid the buffet table for leftovers :rotfl:

Where did the weekend go? Monday and am back at desk. Saturday spent doing house stuff like washing ironing and cleaning. Sunday lovely day out watching horse instructor riding at a one day event. Seriously impressed with skill level :)
Appreciated the well stocked freezer. Meant evening meals were so simple and delicious and I pulled out one of the orange cakes to take with me Sunday which was appreciated by all :)
Monday and am working (well am at desk :)) whilst waiting for farrier to shoe horses and chiropractor to check on whats up with baby. Expensive day ahead......

Actually not so expensive. After chat with farrier decided to try FoggyFell barefoot for a while so no shoes there meaning farrier bill down to £85 for both horses. And chiropractor treated both baby and dog which should have been £90 but with a 20% mates rate discount and lunch bill was £50 cash and sandwiches :) Lovely sandwiches in local pub so very nice day all round and both dog and baby are on rest for a day or 2 and then gentle exercise. Baby needed quite a bit of work bless him.
