I remember you taking about your dad. Must be fabulous to have someone to turn too. But I can see challenges to working with a family member.
He was a great to chat to over Christmas. He has a few things he is going to do with me when we find some time, my biggest worry is what comes out while we delve deeper. I am going to do some looking into life coaches this afternoon as I need to start making some movement with this.

Fab weekend of socialising and running and tidying and ponies. Somehow the ponies managed to get a 5 bar metal gate of its hinges. Delighted that no injuries sustained in the process but now all 3 have to go out together and the elderly gets picked on. Will need to get gate rehung.

In a brave attempt to do something abour perilous state of finances I put a rug that I had bought for new horse on ebay. I bought him 3 rugs all secondhand and in lovely condition but one is way too big for him so I put it on ebay. Delighted it sold for more than I paid for all 3 .... but ... buyer sent a 'paypal cheque' which after 5 days has not cleared and there has been no response from buyer either :( And ebay just invoiced for fees :(

Hey Watty, I'm just catching up and it's lovely to have you back! Charming Cob sounds like he is bringing much pleasure, so a great investment :)

Hope you get the ebay issue sorted - if you cancel the order, remember to do it through ebay - I made the mistake of issuing a refund via PP the other day and I ended up having to pay the sale fee from ebay  I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this though!

I've had paypal cheques take up to 10 days before now - never had one 'fail' though - so fingers crossed it's just taking a while.. :) x

Would be good if it did clear. Have sorted out some more bits to sell and try and restore a bit of financial balance.
Lovely day here. Failed to do much but did enjoy the spring weather pottering on yard and then took Charming Cob out for a hack with a neighbour and her horse. Delightful. Did a bit in office pm and then burger and fries and a TV catch up with wine this evening. Have house to self other than animals and thoroughly enjoying it

Have cleaned the office. I really need to get cracking on some work stuff but I realised I was just wasting time in office and after a chat with life coach person I realised it was actually the mess that was getting me down. I decluttered it ages ago but ingrained dirt and mess has just built up again. Plus the office does not really look like the office of a professional person. So I emptied as much of it as I could, opened all the windows, lit a smelly candle to really change the air gave it a through claen and have been very mindful of what goes back and where. I still have inside of cupboards and filing drawers to do but I am rather pleased with the results.

Not at all MSE tho as went out for lunch to have a break (well the house was a mess as all the stuff from office was in the house!).
Must try to list some stuff on ebay over the weekend to recoup some of spendings....

I recognise myself in this so strongly! It's hard to see it, but great when I do :), it frees up my time to actually *do* something else :D
