De-lurking to say hello Watty!
I read your diary from the start a few months ago and you were a great inspiration. Lovely to see you are back and congrats on the new GG! Not very MSE at all though....!
You read it from the start ..goodness me. And what a lovely thing to say ... thank you.
You are quite right the charming cob is not at all MSE but hey ho. If Mr Watty is going to be a pillock over money I figured I might as well spend it. And so I have beenMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

A little too busy at work today to chatter much or catch up but a lovely weekend had. Met up with a couple of friends in London for the lunch and spent the afternoon chatting oveer tea, coffee, wine. Then Sunday great result on the MSE front as was give two tickets to the Strictly Live Tour in a hospitality box. Took a pal who loves Strictly and an afternoon of fun, laughter glitter and sparkles really cannot be beaten especially if it was free of charge.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

The cob is a true gentleman and a delight to live withMost Handsome went on and of lame and a friend who ran a small riding school was selling up to change the direction of her busisness and she decided the charming cob would be ideal for me. As by the point I took him in to live here Most Handsome and been ridden maybe once a month if that, it seemed a good idea to have a horse to actually ride and I am loving him

A lovely day spent in London. One of the things I did last year was get a life coach and as part of that I got a stylist to help declutter my wardrobe. Awesome. And brave. The amount of stuff I parted with was huge. I now have a very minimal wardrobe .... but I love what I have so that is good and then went into some shops that I would never have usually gone into with stylist and tried on clothes. Just for her to explain what worked, what did not work and why and generally have fun trying stuff. Of course I did buy a few items so it was very spendy! Am totally loving being able to spend some money on myself and enjoy that rather than than the frugal times past. And I'm getting to feel so much braver in my life and definately more sassy.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Oh that sounds great! Good for you - after all, frugality isn't an aim in itself - our *life* is the aim, and yours means spending on new, good quality things right now. And if the experience itself is good, thats an added bonus2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks. Having a stranger empty your wardrobe and pull your many bargin finds apart was daunting. But she was lovely and I have to admit right about so much!
