:) Thanks. Having a stranger empty your wardrobe and pull your many bargin finds apart was daunting. But she was lovely and I have to admit right about so much!
Interesting. I have a few things I still need to deal with, going to use my dad for some of it but looking into who to go to at the moment.

  • Oh, I love the thought of emptying out my wardrobe and just keeping the items I love, and to start again.

I used to have a knitting wool shop and once a customer said to me, its a pity you can't just knit up a man, that way you could rip him out and start again once you get fed up with him :rotfl:(I was very young at the time and had never heard this saying, not sure if it is even one), but loved it :D

    hello Watty !

It's really good to see you again.

I didn't log in much at all last year, but realised how much I missed it, so I'm looking in a little more this year, even if I don't post much.

I remember you taking about your dad. Must be fabulous to have someone to turn too. But I can see challenges to working with a family member.

The woman was eyewateringly expensive but she really pushed my boundaries and helped me grow in a very postive way. It wasn't just about ditching the clothes but ditching a part of me along the way and growing into me if that makes sense.

I also got to write a personal mission statement which I love. I've always thought the affirmations thing a bit "fluffy" but having one that I wrote for me is wonderful and I do actually use it - or parts of it - most days.

I still have a few things I can let go of ...there was a moment where i rescued stuff from the bags after she had left, but, I havent really touched my 'rescues' so I think I need to put them on ebay now. I realised as I opened a drawer a couple of days ago that a couple of things are just not me and I don't think they ever were. I was just dressing to please others.

Thank you AJ, Floppy, Goldie and Frayed for popping in. Lovely to see you here. I'm slowly catching up with your diaries too.
Expensive day here as had to go to dentist .. it was a referral to see if a tooth could be saved. Initial appointment a week ago was £100 and the quote for today £850 .... but ... sadly tooth cannot be saved so price dropped to £250 and I still have to go back to own dentist to have the tooth removed and restoration work done. So not looking forward to that :(

Muchly in agreement with this idea :) Just think one could knit up a handsome charming one for a date out and a super practical one around the house and just unravel him when he became irritating. Lets see if we can find a pattern.... I think our fortunes would be made :rotfl:

    Thanks Greent.

14 K run today. Have signed up for a half marathon - ouch - I don't actually like running much but I love the local running club and 5 of us will be doing it together. So we went off for our training run this morning. To exhausted to do anything else today but out this evening for a friend's birthday .... meal and theatre ...expensive ...see how I've missed being here....its just spend spend spend with me these days :)

On the postive side I have acutally worked out how much is in my bank account and I sorted finances so I can make it to the end of the month :)
