This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Hope kitty likes her new digs.
Yay new neighbour, sounds like a win there.0 -
Kitten clearly feeling much better. Hissing and spitting at me every time she sees me
Have just found some liver dog treats and cut them up small for her. Treating her might help her see humans are not terrifying. Even if she lives out her days as a feral being so scared cannot be nice. Going to use time in pen to see if I can help her overcome that fear a little.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I fostered a group of feral kittens once (mom had been a pet but left home and had a litter). I found feeding them baby food (turkey/chicken) worked well. They had to interact with me (or rather, a spoon), and eventually they were ok with me stroking them while they ate their treat...worked up from there.
One of them seemed a lost cause though - she always hissed/scratched at me. Not sure if she would have eventually come around as she died after about a week.Turns out she had tons of fluid around her heart and it probably gave out.

Do come and hang out on the savings board there is loads of knowledgeable people on it I have learn so much. I'm going to use an IFA but only because it's a large sum but read the links they alway suggest for newbie it's about passive investing from the motivator it's in one of the first posts.A little while back my plan was independence by Easter. It might not be true independence but the plan is to pay off the mortgage on the BTL so that the income covers our bills.
That means we just have to earn enough to cover the animals, the food and our lifestyle. So not true independence as we will still need to work, but I am happy to call that independence for now!
Financial independence really is my goal for 2017. I am still not quite sure how I am going to get there so it may be a bit of a roller coaster but I am on the way ....... I need to start hanging out more on the savings and investments board, and learn a bit about investing rather than the playing about I have done in the past. So that will come in preparation for after Easter when we have "made that part" work.
Other goals are to build more a life I love rather than endure.
Inspired in part by AppleMuncher I am going to start with a 12 week plan to improve my health. ... Rather than go for overwhelm, this week the focus is the sleep and drinking water!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Kitten has her bowls of food but yesterday and today I've offered her a few bits of chopped cooked liver on a flat blade that I push through the bars of her pen. She actually took a couple of pieces tonight and ate them rather than waiting for me to withdraw. Still spitting and hissing but willing to explore a little more in front of us. Actually quite proud of her for being so brave.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Great kitten-warming hack!
Are you drinoing coffee Watty? I have switched to green tea "blessed with lemon" which is not disgusting and has less caffeine.
Also, small snack at bedtime maybe?0
