Love the term "special snowflake" shall add that into my lexicon.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Its been a week now since I've seen kitty. Hope she is ok and that Mr and Mrs Laurel Hedges are just keeping her in - or - maybe have sent her to live with their daughter. Have just restored a bit of the garden we had to dig up to fix the lighting and its where she used to shelter from the rain or hot sun when she was out. Carefully put it back to she can use it again if she shows up.
    Miss her very much.

This morning I decided I am going to speak to the neighbours and find out what they have done with Kitty. Just need to work out how to do it. Need to catch them outside or find an excuse to go round - like take in a parcel for them or something. I miss her and would just like to know now.

  • Can Kitty be your excuse? Given how much time she's spent with you it's not unreasonable to ask after her welfare (surely Mr/Mrs Laurel Hedges would have noticed her absence).

Hello, just been reading about East Independence Day.

It's a great target to go for, and sounds challenging, but you sound focussed and determined.

Hope you find out about Kitty.

It'd just be nice to know

Yes it would. I've been out again today looking for her 'just in case'. I don't feel I can nip round and ask the neighbours. It they weren't so difficult to get on with I would have said Kitty was here a long while ago. Also a nicer neighbour wouldn't have let her get into such a state I am sure. I know when she left me last Saturday she was well fed, healthy and full of bounce so fingers crossed she is ok.

Oh, I hope everything is OK with kitty, Watty!

Your 'client' reminded me of one of mine... we stopped doing business when he owed me (I'm too embarrassed to say how much), and now he sends me updates about his traumatic life (he lives in Azerbaijan, where everything has apparently gone to hell in a handbasket) - I doubt I'll ever see the money, but I think he genuinely believes he'll pay one day.... in the meantime the updates keep me entertained as they're always so dire it seems unlikely to be true! (But no, I'll never work for him again!)

Been thinking moisturiser was not working very well and I would need to change. Last of the pot pumped out and a new one found from cupboard and I realised they were very different in colour and texture. Rechecked the empty pot and for some while now I have been smearing cleanser/'make up remover over face and rubbing in :rotfl:
In my defence the bottles were identical in all but name :)
