Dog is home and recovering from op nicely. Will hear next week what mass actually is but, vet is fairly certain so right now hoping for a miracle.
Really knocked me for six. Did manage to spend yesterday in office catching up on work. Today will just potter about and try and recover from the emotional toll the news has taken.

Over a week without posting. Sorry for neglecting you dear diary.
Vet confirmed dog has hemamgiosarcoma (?sp) basically a nasty cancer. After a lot of heart searching I've declined the chemo option because it will maybe only give another 3 months after the 1-2 months he has left with us and I'm not sure I can put myself through that.
So for now, focus on doggy daily and enjoy time left.
That and working to pay the business back.
