Most handsome went for his MRI yesterday. Thankfully covered by insurance. Waiting for results now.
Rang about a little coloured cob for loan but someone had got there first. Think I'd rather know about most handsome before committing however.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Nice weekend. Went to Canterbury to see Opera on Friday night, watched badminton on TV (cheaper than actually going :) ) and weeded garden.
Now back at desk wistfully watching a sunny day pass me by.

Yes - and - no. It showed very mild changes and a bone bruise - but - vet was out again today and has decided these are not likely to be the cause of the problem. He has now been lame for over 5 months so its not looking too good - but - I pointed out we still don't know "why" and I'm not having the vet write him off without a why, so vet gone away to consider referrals. Havent heard back from vet this evening (grrrr) but will chase on Monday. Am very downhearted to be honest.

Am having trouble focusing on financials and realised today there were random spends creeping in. Clearly because of low mood. Must focus.

You are coping very well, Watty. I would be beside myself if it was the Plops.

Watty, sorry to hear you're no further forward about finding out *why* :( good that you've noticed the extra spends before they go too far. A referral sounds like a very good idea, your local vet sounds like they've really reached the limit of their expertise.

Really I am not coping very well at all. Mindless spending, 2 bottles of wine (I haven't drunk in 15 years) and a large bar of chocolate have all been methods of coping.
Am so anxious. I can't quite believe this is happening to me and Most Handsome.
