    Morning all

Well I'm up, feeling a bit sick but I'm sure I'll get over it. Both of the kids are up so that's a good start. I still haven't decided what to wear - inset day so I'd normally wear jeans but I don't want to turn up on my first day in jeans. Anyway I'm rambling now so wish me luck and hope I don't need it.

Fizzy - lovely pic - congratulations.

I'll try and be in this week - I'll just have to see how the week pans out and then I'm away next weekend.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Hope you have a good day, juliejim.
Lovely picture, Fizz! You both look so relaxed and happy.
    Calming vibes to Mumto5.
Welcome home to your WM, CY!

I've had a dreadful night, up and down like a yoyo. The tiler will be here by 8.00, closely followed by the garden gang, so it's not worth going back to sleep now. Beautiful sunrise again, so it looks as if we are in for another day of sunshine :) but I shall be sitting upstairs at my computer most of the day because
    1. the furniture is still piled up in all the wrong rooms downstairs
    2. we can't move things back into the lounge because the plaster needs to dry out first (the plasterer has left us a giant fan which will create a good draught - if we put it on High it is likely to take off like a helicopter!)
    3. I can keep an eye on the tiler working in the bathroom next door
    4. and anyway, I've got a report to finish and 5 project-board-sized displays to produce by Saturday.

Other flying will be minimal today. There's no point in dusting while the fan is blowing! Once the tiler has finished the bathroom, he will be doing the kitchen so that will have to wait until at least Wednesday.

I think for today I will just make our bed and S&S the ensuite ;)
DH has got to make 2 or 3 trips to the tip to dispose of the garden rubbish that we bagged up yesterday :D but that means first removing from the car 2 child car seats and a load of stuff including a stairgate that we have to take to DS2 from DD - where on earth can we put them all? (Probably the only free place is on our bed!)
  • I'm in this week, started off last week really well, and then failed, did some extra bits but didnt post, and managed to turn the house upside down over the weekend somehow despite not being here a lot??

Glad its the kitchen today, i always feel better once the kitchen is cleaned up! So zoflora is at the ready..... For a bit later!
Still here..... but working on that!

  • Morning all,

    I am in again please.

    Fizzwizz--lovely pic, congratulations.

Well kitchen not looking too bad, washing on and will be hung out before I leave for work, all the rest to be done on my return!

Will really try to complete the lists on the right day so my weekends are free to do what I want to do, rather than what I need to do.

Right off for a shower then work.

    See you soon x
  • I'm in and the kitchen isn't too bad. Got assignment in a day early and I need to nip to the shops today.

I'm going to set myself a challenge of studying on 4/5 days while the kids are at school as I have an ema then start my first level 3 straight after so need to get myself organised.

I have got up to find teenage boy bodies in the living room. DS2 intended to sleep out on the green last night but they gave up around 1am and came in. Good thing I didn't put the chain on!

DS3 got an award for U9's best bowler at the cricket club awards yesterday. It's tiny but the first cricket trophy to enter our home.

I'm waiting to use the shower then I'll start the list.

Good day wishes for all flyers new and old.

    Morning all

Mumto5 congrats to DS3 - those cricket trophies mean so much.

DH and DS1 both gone back to work, thank the lord, they were doing my head in.

Dusting behind where the new sofa is going first
    Then town
Wait for sofa (sewing whilst I wait)
    To vet
Take DS2 to work and food shop.
