Guerlain Idylle, v. expensive but I love it, or Chanel No.5.

I only wear Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

Paul Smith Rose just love it and everyone always asks me what it is when I wear it. Also have a penchant for Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and like you Light Blue by D&G.

Paul smith rose is a lovely scent. Not too sweet, clean and lovely. :)

I ama scent fiend. But most of my favourites help no one, as not available in uk or discontionued  while I like not to smell like everyone else, being able to buy something without it being discontinued is a bonus. I try and find something I can buy here to latch on to and have other things DH can pick up when he is in Italy.

ATM I am wearing three supermarket eau de colognes from italy:D and a rather less frugal one from Florence). Prada do some lovely scents and as not so many people seem to wear them they smell fresher, less familiar. My favourite scent of recent years was a Prada one much nicer than many three times its cost, but it was discontinued :(. Cannot remember without standing at my dressing table what else I have ATM. I always have something with violets in it, something with orange blossom and something with light clean florals and something a bit more adult.

Oh, I have one that smells of blackcurrant leaves ATM, DH loves it (he bought it for me) and I get quite a few compliments on it, but it doesn't smell like 'me' to me so I won't be getting it again, though its been a fun change, I feel quite sophisticated wearing it, not sure why rolling in blackcurrants would make one feel sophisticated but nevertheless, it does. :)
  • Agent Provocateur L'Agent at the moment, but I chop and change a lot. I sometimes buy sample sizes of perfumes I think I might like to try from Ebay, then you haven't wasted a lot of money if you decide you don't like it once it's been on you a while.

My favourite scent has to be Insolence by Guerlain but it's about a million pounds a bottle (well not quite but I'd want to wear it everyday if I had it and it'd soon be gone) :(

Oh my life, there's a million different perfumes been mentioned so far. I'd better take a packed lunch when I go into town. :rotfl:

    Jean Paul Gautier's Classique.
  • My Granny and Mama always wore the same scent - which means that if I smell Poison, I expect to see my Granny, even though she died 9 years ago. Similarly, my mother always wears either Stephanotis or Seringa , both of which are Floris perfumes, and not particularly common, and so both smell to me entirely of my mother (a very positive association, by the way!)

    My faves;

    Daisy by Marc Jacobs
Flower by Kenzo - everybody always compliments it - love it
    L'Eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake
    J'Adore by Christian Dior - it's gorgeous!!
In love with Jimmy Choo... so much so I hate to use it because I don't want it to run out
    Lacoste - Touch of pink
    Armani Diamonds

I am a perfume addict and have pretty much tried them all but these ones I always come back to. They are now all kept in a locked drawer in my bedroom, as my youngest son and his friend raided my collection to make a Harry Potter potion on Halloween last year
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
