    Good luck today evilsquid.

Have some outs and some uu

uu - Champneys Thai Royale Body Cream - this is the last of the Thai Royale range I had in the stash - lovely stuff, the fragrance lasts ages.

uu - Lush Dream Cream - this is used for DD's eczema, have already replaced it with another.

uu - Sanex bath foam - a massive 650ml bottle, this was the kids bubble bath and it has lasted ages, huge amounts of bubbles - WDBA.

uu - BS Buritti Baby shampoo - used this to wash DS's hair and it is nice, rinses easily and leaves his hair shiny, have replaced it with another of the same.

    out -

Elemis Revitalise me shower gel - mini - to DH
BS Green Apple shower gel - to DH (have 3 more of these)
Botanics Cleansing Mousse - to DH
L'occitane Verbena shower gel - mini - to DH
BS Fuzzy Peach shower gel - to be used as bubble bath by the kids.

Obviously these are still in the house but not for long now other people are using them.

Last day of the kid's summer holidays today, house will be so quiet tomorrow.

    Afternoon all!

Apologies, there have been so many updates and my tiny brain can't cope at the moment :o I hope everyone's well and that all those requiring good luck get it, all those ill get better and everyone else gets what they need/want xxx

Yep, that covers it I think! :D

BTW has anyone replaced their toiletries buying with something else? I seem to have a real thing for buying knickers since I've stopped habit-buying toiletries! Mind you at least it's something I'm sure to use!
And then I was talking to my friend about how good I had been, not buying the l'occ stack offers I had been looking at yesterday. And then I went and bought it anyway:rotfl: So that's £40 spent and around 30 ins from l'occ, will post them up when they arrive. In the meantime the 'discovered' items were:

    L'Occitance hand cream - honey
Elemis pro radiance illuminating flash balm
    No7 cleansing body polish
    Tresemme 24 hour body shampoo
    Tresemme 24 hour body conditioner
Tisserand de stress essential oil roll on
    Jungle formula green spray

We've all been there Roguey! Welcome back xx

Laura Geller Bronze N Brighten. I really can't get any more out of the pan which is just as well I suppose as I should now start to make myself look pale and interesting..

See, I have 2 shades of foundation, one for summer, one for winter, I don't change them until about October time....mind you I go on my 'summer' hols in September so I want to stay bronzed then (well, as bronzed as I get anyway!), tbh I use less bronzer in winter but due to my strawberries and cream complexion, I need it to balance me out a bit.

I'm going to give this challenge I try. I don't know if this is the right place for me, because I must admit, I don't have half as many items as some of you have listed - I'm actually a bit of a minimalist!

Welcome Georgette and don't worry, we all have a habit to break, be it hoarding vast amounts or spending too much xx

  • Thanks Sam!
I am in for another month. I need to actually do a count, I am afraid to.
But I will make it a goal for September.
BUT! I do have some UU
-Makeup Forever Lip Liner- was ok. Won't buy again.
-Aquifor lip balm. Won't buy again because as I use up my massive hoard of stuff I only want to bring green/ natural products in. (That is, when I need lipbalm, which at this rate may be around 2018).

  • Ooops, I have some to update from August...

    OUTs
27 - lush sexy peel soap, grapefruit, just soap really! I prefer some of their other ones.
28 - Sure maximum protection cream deo. I quite liked this at first but it got really gooey and messy. Probably wouldn't buy again.
29 - oral b 3d white toothpaste, sample size. OK, but I need sensitive toothpaste.
30 - avon supershock eyeliner. I really liked this but, you can't sharpen or twist it up so after about 5 uses it was done. Very poor for money saving...and obviously won't be buying from avaon again anyway.
31 - Shiseido perfect defining mascara, sample size. I only used this twice. It was awful! Like glue on your lashes! I actually had to use nail polish remover to get it off my hand where I'd sorted the blobs and clumps. It's taken all weekend gentle cleaning to get it off my lashes...at least it was free...but even at free I wouldn't have it again. Yuck!

OK, hopefully to use up some nice things now! Lol.
    28 -
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Thanks Sam for starting us off on yet another month of resistance, pampering and lusting after lovely products!

I am back in once more and I am celebrating my anniversary in joining in with this challenge. This is my 3rd year (newbies do not be put off - I had a monster stash):eek::eek:

Did well last month with 7UUs including some make up. This month I would like to finish off my instant leg spray and a body moisturiser. Anything else is a bonus. I do need mascara as I still have none and a loose powder to set my make up. Careful consideration has gone into both as I no longer just buy something on a whim to try.

    Welcome.

I did not know it was a colleagues birthday so I have quickly put them a box together.
    GA
    Small bar of soap
    Hair stuff
    Mini mascara
    Elemis shower gel
Molton brown mini shower gel in ylang ylang
    Eye liner
    Lip stick
    Cuticle oil
    Mini foundation
    Perfume sample 5 ml
    Elemis quartz lift mask
2 sachets of face cream origins and yves rocher
    Sachet of E 45 lotion

I did add a few other bits such as chocolates and other little bits.

It's quite nice to have some unexpected outs.

I took part last year for a month or 2 but have stayed this year. I don't buy lots of clothes or shoes or spend money on really anything else apart from body stuff. It started with lush and I have really reduced the amount I ave of this but have managed to branch out into other companies, face care and anything else that takes my fancy. I do seem to go through more than others but do think that alot of this is because I like a nice bath and I have quite a few smaller sized products that are quicker to use.

    UU's
Wei buffing beads sample WMBA quite liked how scrubby it was
Garnier belle colour conditioner sachet from a hair dye bought years ago WNBA worked reasonably well

I'm going to give this challenge I try. I don't know if this is the right place for me, because I must admit, I don't have half as many items as some of you have listed - I'm actually a bit of a minimalist! - but I have a slightly warped view of what is an appropriate amount to spend on toiletries (£10 deodorant, anyone?!), and I always fall for special offers (buy 2 nail polishes, get another 1 free) and pretty packaging, not to mention the promise of loyalty points. (I love Boots, but I think I need to stop shopping there!) I also love Lush, but I've realised that Lush products should be bought as a special treat or received as gifts, not bought regularly as staples. I guess I just need a bit of a reality check, and to decide what my priorities are (fancy hairspray is probably not very high on the list!).

Welcome georgette! That's a cute stash you have going :D x
