Welcome newbies  Good luck with the challenge. As others have said, it is really worthwhile putting together a stash list. When the times get tough and the UU's are slow, the list can really help you stay on the straight and narrow as you can see just how well you are doing.

I have another UU - GUM Hairspray which is my HG. I have replaced this with one in my stash.

Other than that life is just fine. I am going on a murder mystery overnight this weekend :T. I love these and have been to a few. I have already looked out my make up bag and filled it with some lovely goodies to use.

  • Morning all! Fiasco, that murder mystery sounds awesome :)
    I have UUs! :j
    22. Lush So White bath bomb - WDBA if it comes back, have a couple more in the stash though.
    23. Lush Ocean Salt scrub sample - WNBA, slightly too scrubby and I don't like salt near my eyes, was terrified the whole time I was using this!

How do you deal when you find products that weren't on the original list? I'm loath to count it as an IN when I've always had it! Should I just quietly add it on to the original list? (It's a lipbalm, surprise surprise, I told you there were more lurking!)

    UU: 5, IN: 2
Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)
  • Morning ladies!

    Roguey - get well soon!

Fiasco - sounds fun, enjoy :)

OxfordOwl - :rotfl: at your lip balm discovery. I don't have a stash list, but if I "find" things I don't count them as INs that month.

    UU:

    26. Hawaiian Tropic after sun body butter 200ml - WBA, smells of holidays :) and very moisturising, but no need given that summer seems to be over (boo!) and I already have several more of these stashed in my suitcase ready for next year's holidays, bought at 75% off recently.

After a bit of a slow patch I suddenly seem to have lots of splutterers so am expecting a flurry of UUs before the end of the month!

  • Hi, thank you for the welcomes and rncouraging comments! I'm posting from my phone so tiny screen means I can't remember who they were from at the moment. I will definitely post my stash, I'm going to do it tomorrow because I can also choose what to UU on holiday next week.
Someone said they WDBA if so white comes back? Shhhhh..
You didn't hear it from me...it is back this year :-D
The Xmas range is IMO the best in a while, a bit more commercial than L*sh normally goes for but I likey.
Avoiding buying stuff from there is going to be tough!
We also get our 'try me' stuff on Sunday at our meeting.
Luckily it's not a staff box this year, the main problem with my stash!! I get lots to try. Not complaining lol but it wouldn't help this challenge :-D
I will post again properly from my computer soon. I feel at home already on this thread. I love that I'm not alone on my toiletries addiction :)

Welcome suzitiger and Fairyshazza. I would definitely recommend writing a stash list, it did take me months to get round to it, it's like ripping a plaster off. But once you have done it I found it has made me target things and use them up.

    Evening ladies,

I got a lovely parcel from enchanted today so have items to declare

    INS
2 bubble bars, looking forwards to trying a bubble bar from a company othe than lush.

Hiya thanks for the welcome. I will list my stash! I was embarrassed but you guys have made me feel so much better about it :-D
Now, on the subject of bubble bars, I could be wrong but I believe these are still under patent by lush as they invented them. I don't think anywhere else is allowed to sell them but I will double check :-/
I know that the shampoo bars are definitely under patent but I've seen them sold elsewhere tut tut :-D still, I hope they are lovely and that you enjoy them. X

  • Suzitiger: your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to list all your products. On a secondary note, if you can beat my list of 400 items, then you win no prize, but my ever lasting respect :rotfl::rotfl:

Hahaha thanks! :-D oh my...I have no idea how big it is, it could be 400 items though, we shall see :-D I hope you feel better soon x

  • Will try and get a stash list written at some point but must admit at the moment am snowed under trying to get ready for our new arrival.

    Another couple of small UU's

Clarins GWP foundation - far too dark for me but mixed it with one I have which is far too light to use it up :p
    Aveda serum GWP

    IN

Mini St Tropez Mousse which was a freebie from the ST Tropez FB group

Fairyshazza - a baby, how exciting, hope all goes well when the time comes, please keep us informed if you get chance.

suzitger - I bet all the staff at Lush spend half their wages in there, it is good that they give you things to try so you can give an informed opinion to customers. I am an AVON rep and when customers ask about products most often I can't really help as we have to buy ourselves so I only buy what I want rather that trying out more things.

roguey - hope you feel better soon.

I will have two very, very naughty ins to declare later this week. There is really no hope for me.

  • Speaking of Avon:
UU 250 ml Skin So Soft Soft and Sensual Body Lotion.

WIBA? Yes, when on offer, nice smell, rubs in really well. It's not one of those expletive pearlised ones that leaves a sheen that rubs off everywhere and is lethal to dark clothing. Neither is it a 'body souffle' that is 90% air. I am learning...
It's the 400 ml Avon chamomile and oat lotion that is very much like Aveeno next.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • My back is so itchy today! I feel like I have bed bug bites in about 3 places - so painful! Definitely must be allergic to something....
