Welcome back daizyboo
I'm staying at my parents and trying to UU all the odds & ends in the bathroom as well as my own travel sized bits:
1. Cherry Amber Shower Gel 250ml - WNB myself, a bit drying
2. Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse Anti Fatigue Moisturising Cream - WNBA, not hydrating enough but would have loved this in my oily days
Xxx0 -
I will get to use some travel / mini items this weekend, going away for two nights to a lovely hotel for a wedding! I can't wait first time I have been away in almost 2 years!0

I've always taken my lead from what is put into sachets. I never use more than 10ml of any shampoo or conditioner and usually less. 5ml seems to be the least I can get away with.
Shower gels - I use a large shower puff and just 5-8 ml brings up lashings of lather. I can't use more, it would take ages to rinse away.
Lotion is more variable. 30 ml per whole body application seems a bit too much, 25 ml roughly right. However I'm 5'9'' and fairly well built. If I was a 5'2 lady jockey I'd use less.
Body lotion I would say about 15ml and body butters 20ml and that being generous and I have plenty of skin to cover.
UU's
Liz Earle super skin concentrate 2 ml WNBA I was not a fan of the scent and it seemed to break my skin out.
Purel anti bacterial hand gel 50 ml WBA cheap and does the job.
BS hemp hand cream 30ml WBA quite like it still don't think it is as good as Neutrogena.
BS midnight bakula body spray 100 ml WNBA not a fan of the smell, have replaced this (kept in car) with the same fragrance but in perfume form.0 -
I have another discovered item that was missing off my list: L'Occitane almond shower oil 75ml. I really have done well with lots of freebies and extras from l'occitane, and it makes up more than 20% of my stash list.
Have come down with a bad cold or flu, I ache all over and have a hacking cough and headache, so hot bath and an early night for me i think0 -
So yesterday I got off to a small start.
UU
50ml Clarins Bath & Shower Concentrate
15ml Aveda Shampure
Currently trying to decide whether I should try and use up all my GWP's first or go straight into the part used full sized products. The GWPs can be quite useful for overnight/weekend breaks and I will need some products to pack in my hospital bag (expecting a baby in just a few weeks) plus they don't actually take up much space in the grand scale of things either.
Think I kind of answered my own question thereOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
I am having an allergy patch test this week - can't get my back wet all week - it's a nightmare!
My OH mentioned a Watchdog episode last week, which had a piece on MI (methylisothiazolone). I've just been watching it on catch-up and it's quite interesting. They found a number of people were reacting to Piz Buin all day sun-tan lotion. I had exactly the same reaction to a knock-off version of it about 5 years ago, and promptly stopped using it. Unfortunately I don't have that bottle any more to confirm the ingredients, but I'm quite intrigued.
I'm currently on the sulfate-free path to see if this might be the cause of my skin condition, but though this was worth mentioning to others following a sulfate-free lifestyle with or without success, as I've noticed a few of my sulfate-free products still contain it.
Anyway, here's hoping my allergy test brings back some positive results - 2 of the 50 spots on my back are very itchy already (after 36 hours), but I don't know if it's just the tape pulling at my back a little bit, though I am pretty sure I'm allergic to Nickel, which would account for one spot.0 -
Ops! I had a Capital Bonds voucher to use by the end of the month, couldn't find anything else to buy but toiletries:eek: So INS of a Botanics day and night cream and cleanser. Damn a No 7 voucher too now! On the plus side the Christmas gifts were getting put out and looked to be some nice sets appearing...Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

i had a massive stash of the cloths because of this, i think you can buy C&P on its own but any offer atm seems to always be both together, i can never get through them and i feel its a waste to thow away a perfectly useable cloth purely because the cleanser has run out and im on another one.
i started using them to make bath bags in along the lines of the Ceridwens Cauldron from L*sh. made loads for me and a xmas prezzies last year and they seemed to go down well!0 -

I also reuse the cloths after they've gone a bit soft or dingy, I tend to use them for dusting but have also started making yoghurt recently and found a (heavily washed first) large BS muslin cloth was great to strain the yoghurt and make greek style set yoghurt!0
