Just caught up on the thread for the last few days. Enjoyed seeing the hauls/stash lists and am very jealous :D

I too had wondered where And and Kipling monkey were, hope they are both ok. Have been missing rosemary's posts too but I think she is away on holiday.

I am annoyed that I missed the bumble and bumble in Elle magazine but it's probably a good thing :rotfl: Def going to get the InStyle freebie though.

No INS but I am in need of some shampoo and conditioner. Thinking about trying the Loreal ever range as have seen lots of good reviews of this from beauty bloggers. I also need to get another Effaclar Duo as it is spluttering and a facial sunscreen for my holiday.

    Have 1 UU:

122: Clinique Superdefense age defense moisturiser 50ml - WMBA, took me a while to use this as I tended to use this as an SPF for my face when on holiday :o:o can't remember what SPF it was, think it was 25. I know this is very bad but I used to find that other facial SPFs gave me spots. I would def not do this now though as I know it isn't great for my skin - am planning on buying one of the La Roche Posay facial sunscreens for my upcoming holiday instead.

Also, my Benefit They're Real mascara really needs to be thrown away as it has been open a while and not much left in it really.

Was thinking about washing the wand and then using this with another cheaper mascara because surely it's the wand that makes a product good rather than the actual mascara itself? What do other people think? I just don't want to fork out £19 for a mascara really (this one was a gift!)

I have an old mascara wand that i use as a lash comb for separating out my lashes once I've put mascara on, works a million times better than my Sephora proper one!

i think it is the wand that makes most of the difference with them, the formulas cant be that much different!

Don't forget the threading on the neck and lid would have to match, or you'll be cleaning the wand totally every time to put the old lid on!

Otherwise, yes I think you're right.

If I had a lightbulb moment today, it was a depressing one. I went for a mooch round Boots and felt awfully guilty even for looking. It was horrible. Even the new Liz Earle stand was miserable to look at because I thought of all the things I should never have bought :(
  • I have one UU: Mum & me emollient bath wash 50ml
This was the freebie that was going around a few months back. Was nice enough, very little scent as you would expect so I popped a couple of drops of lavender oil in the bath as well. Lightly moisturising but not as much as I had expected. Has had me looking up milk bath recipes though; I've made my own bath bombs previously and am definitely interested in making my own bath products when I've reduced the stash a little more.

Aching all over as am coming down with a cold, feel horrible. Curling up in layers and drinking lots of tea. In good news though, I have the doggie for another week. My family member realised she needs a little more time at home to get her strength back and has asked me to hold on to him for a few days more. He's a gorgeous dog and we curled up together for a nap earlier, had my own giant hot water bottle to help me feel better.

    Hello all!
I couldn't help noticing these, I love this shampoo too! It's going onto my 'buy once I've finished everything' list!
Its very good, it seems to be the only shampoo that my scalp likes and I have tried alot.

I'm writing my list in stages and sections too. It takes so long, and you know the longer it takes, the more items are on it. Ho-hum.
    .
It does take hours, alot longer than you think and I still have found more. I'm looking forwards to reading yours.

I have not got to that stage yet, I am so excited about Lush's Christmas range coming out at the end of the month. I have a voucher I had for my birthday which I have saved. I have only spent about £60 since January in Lush and last year it was easily £100 a month, it has taken me 8 months to use about 2/3 of my stash up (some were given away and a few things sold on ebay).

    UU's
blue skies and fluffy white clouds bubble bar WNBA This has always been my favourite product but the quality has gone down and its not worth buying it anymore, such a shame.
American Cream perfume (lush) WBA I love this perfume, I get alot of complements when I wear it and have 2 bottles left.
Snowcake soap WBA again a favourite and trhe only lush soap I will buy in the sales this year.
Bomb cosmetics bath bomb WNBA not the greatest fan was okay.
Flexitol skin balm sachet WNBA still have a few to use up.
John Freda sheer blonde shampoo sachet WNBA

    INS
5 items for FP, already on stash list apart from 1.
    Sanctuary hand cream
Sanctuary hand wash both a late birthday present.

Yes very good point, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe I will use it as a lash comb as evilsquid suggested. Can anyone suggest a good budget mascara?

For those of you after the PK Elasticizer, are you aware of this promotion on the magazine?

I've just taken advantage and got two copies :D

How did you get on with the Philosophy Purity? I loved the result it gave me - at the time I suffered badly with milia and this got rid of it all - however it left my skin feeling really tight.

I used it as a face wash a couple of times then UU as a shower gel as it was too smelly for my face, can't really comment other than it washed my face :rotfl:

Yes, even Lisa Eldridge, beautiful celebrity makeup artist that she is, has used different 17 mascaras in her videos!
