Who said I spend that kind of money personally? I live with with my GF's famaily, they are mortgage free, I pay £100 a week for food, which is some kind of contribution towards keeping an a roof over my head.

    Get off your high horse.

Anyway, I can't be dealing with this thread anymore, majority are clowns who have haven't got half a brain.

I thank the 'small' majority who have given some constructive advice.

Lets hope you never actually got a job with the Police force as you have previously mentioned.

Not going to lie, if I was in labour and my OH suggested that he was going to pop to the shop for anything that I didn't specifically need in the next 12 hours I would kill him.

I think most of us would agree with you ..............

However if I was married to the OP , I might find labour a damn sight easier if he wasnt there :rotfl:

They have given me £40 in vouchers, however, I don't feel the offer is satisfying enough, considering the experience I went through with the police being their, the store being extremely packed (convenience store aswell, so everyone could hear what was going on), the manager from where I work at also being there and witnessing what was happening.

This incident happened a week ago, but I am still angry and upset about this incident. The manager who was serving me, didn't even check the vouchers out properly, he says he was scanning them and they weren't working, however upon reading the redeeming the printout of the vouchers, it says, it it does not work, please enter the redemption code manually.

Before calling the police, he called paypoint who even themselves confirmed everything was genuine.

The manager handle the situation really, really badly, I was waiting in the store for over an hour, I missed the birth of my son, because he was pretending to be on the phone to UKASH trying to sort it out, but he turned out he was on the police to the police.

I have spent thousands in the CO-OP they are my weekly shop store, and I spend on average £250 a week in their shops and after this experience I vow never to use their shops again.

I feel like going to the newspapers about this incident, I am not happy with their offer of apologizing with what has happened.

I strongly believe the manager acted the way due to the colour of my skin, and my age.

THe fact that you made your last point in such big type makes you an attention seeking moron. Especially as your next statement reads " The manager did not use any language that was racist and I can't prove he was ageist, but I can tell you know, he smug throughout it all and I bet he wouldn't of called the police if it was a middle age white guy dressed smartly, he most likely would of said there's nothing I can do with these vouchers..."

Oh by the way its "wouldnt have called the police" and "would have said.." So you know he was smug, how does that work then?
To summarise you were suspected of trying to redeem counterfeit vouchers and you complain that the police were called? You then got an apology and £40 for an hour. Thats good work really. Take it and move on.
  • No need to quote those ridiculously large images!

I was happy when I moved onto page 2 and could read without having to scroll left and right.

FTBSOS, please ignore the posters on this thread who aren't taking you seriously. Don't let them wind you up.

You must speak to a lawyer about taking your case to the European Court of Co-op Rights. I promise, you won't be treated like a fantasist with possible mental health issues.

It didn't occur to you to say that your wife was in labour, can I come back later and let them keep the vouchers meanwhile to show you have nothing to hide?

Now I remember this poster, the barratts made me homeless person. that thread did make me smile, more than this one. Nothing on TV now so I think i will give them all a look again.

I think the OP should write a book, would be a classic. Call it something like, 'things that happened to me.....or did they?'

and apparently earns 1400/month after tax and spends £1K/month in the coop. £400/month left to buy a 160K-210K house, oh yes and get the 17K loan and service it.
    You couldn't make it up

    oh no wait....yes you could.

    The OP's latest thread
