I am intending to use any compo to buy a 6th motorbike to add to my collection.
You won't get any compo if you don't have losses you can quantify.
So I'm not entirely sure you're not just on a wind up.0 -

If you read post number 2 you would see there are unlikely to be any real cases, it is a criminal not civil matter so up to the police to deal with.
You can only sue for actual loses so unless they have damaged your property in some way there is nothing to claim for.0 -
How many people do you think successfully claim compensation from DCAs? Don't think your request will be unique in the slightest, this is their business. Pursuing people for money owed on behalf of companies, they would have seen every trick in the back and received so many accusations of harassment it's unreal.
What would be deemed as harassment is also at debate. Is a letter a week harassment? Probably not, you can bin a letter with minimal inconvenience. Is constant phonecalls harassment? Well depends if the debtor has opened up a dialog I guess and the qty of calls. What could be considered harassment perhaps is recurring phone calls to a debtors place of work, but if a single phone call as part of tracing an absconded debtor then maybe not.
Even if you did get some money, if you think it will be enough to pay for a 6th bike then think again.
Since most DCAs are merely acting as agents for a creditor then I guess you should start there.
So what exactly is the problem you are experiencing? And what steps have you taken so far?0 -
have you tried googling your question?0

Who said I was experiencing a problem?
For the record I am not being harassed by DCA's and don't need any advice on how to deal with them or with debt etc.
I am simply looking for what I asked for in my first post.0 -
