Parking - Letter Before County Court Claim (LBCCC) - Fight back! Guidance Thread

Hi my new thread is posted with the above title.
Thanks
Why have you resurrected this ancient thread to say that? Makes no sense. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

BUT , this thread is ancient and the PaP rules were superceded in oct 2017 , so any reference to the PaP should be the new ones introduced in oct 2017 and not the ones referred to in this thread
this is the danger of reading old threads and old posts, they may be out of date, as are the ones in this thread0 -
I agree. This site is so confusing and everytime someone replies its just to tell you to look somewhere else obscure or at a post which is 5 years old. Spent all day looking through here for the right information and found nothing that relates, only conflicting information. Fed up. Just gonna pay. This site has taken away 10 hours of my life I'll never get back as I've gained noting from it but a headache!0

try doing it every day like us regulars , lol
dont blame us if MSE dont lock or remove old threads though
you would not look in a 2013 xmas magazine to find out whats on TV next tuesday or in 2019
I would advise you to look at the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, third thread down from the top of this forum, that contains all the latest and up to date advice, despite looking like it is several years old, every post of the 5 posts has been updated recently (look at the bottom of each post for its editing date)
plus look at the GDPR 2018 FIGHTBACK thread by Coupon-mad as well , that deals with GDPR issues like data protection and the SAR info etc
lastly, look at any 2018 thread about the topic you are interested in, nothing older, so nothing before 2018 (in case the information is out of date)
yes this is a complicated topic, its about parking rules, legalities and laws , contracts , trade bodies, solicitors etc
the same could be said for buying a house, opening a new business , buying or leasing a car , renting a house, probate when somebody has passed away (seen that , done that)
these parking companies and some solicitors want to confuse and make it complicated, which is why the MP,s have introduced and passed a new Parking bill, currently going through the house of Lords
https://services.parliament.uk/bills/2017-19/parkingcodeofpractice.html
plus I also wrote this post recently trying to explain matters in down to earth terms, please read it as well
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=75126216&postcount=46
so the advice on here is the best , FREE , advice you can find in the UK, its not perfect and it changes daily, but so does the weather
merry xmas0 -

It's Christmas so here is a link to the most authoritative guide to all stages of fighting tickets https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822/newbies-private-parking-ticket-old-or-new-read-these-faqs-first-thankyou
It is up to date and contains everything you need. Yes it takes a bit of reading but if it didn't it wouldn't be authoritative.0 -
Nasty jibe blaming the forum for his/her woes. Not nice. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

hello.
I have just read through the entire guidance, and I just have to be honest and say I'm not bright enough to understand, my eyes were literally boggling.. so embarrassing.
i have 2 LBCCC from parking eye. I have left them as i thought i had 28 days to respond, and then xmas came, etc. Ive just picked them up and horrified to find there was 14 days to respond. They were both dated 7th Dec.
i just cannot make head nor tail of the guidance you've posted, would someone be able to spell it out easier for me, I'm sorry again its so embarrassing.
thank you
