Hmm I seem to be posting here alot tonight sorry about that.
Just completed a survey, should be getting a test product through the post next week to use for a few weeks then fill in another survey. So thats a few more points towards redemption on the survey site and I've saved Dad a couple of quid on next months shopping.
Dad's also decided he wants to buy some new dinnerware, so I've been nominated to go to Debenhams tomorrow and buy 16 plates and 16 bowls in assorted sizes - can't help thinking carrying that lot through town from the shop to the car is going to go horrifically wrong. But he's transferred the money for it in to my bank account already, and Deb's take L2S vouchers so will use the vouchers to cover part of the cost and pay the rest on my CC, then pay the whole cash amount off the CC when I get home. Does mean I won't be buying a kettle bell any time soon though, but that's not a necessity just yet. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

It's good that you are posting a lot though. I asusme that is what it si here for, to help people get their thoughts onto "paper" so they can read back.
That's what I am doing anyways.
I kinda don't know what else to write. But I am enjoying your diary very much. You are making me think about my own exercise routine and its non-existance.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Mine has been for the last erm year or so now. About two and a half years ago I was walking to and from work every day having realised I'd piled on weight, I then graduated to walking to work and running home (was only about a mile and a half to work from home). Then my ex and I moved nearer his work place and I stopped, and the weights been creeping back on. So while I'm unemployed I figure I have no excuse not to at least get back in to that good habit.
True it is, but normally other than replies I don't most much more than once a day so three in a row feels excessive. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Ah, then I will have to keep replying to you so you don't get three in a row then.
When work went sour, I kinda stopped focussing on anything apart from it and I ended up regaining the two stone I had lost. (bit of a disaster).
Have you considered joining the october step-up thing?? (the september one is on the go just now, I don't know if you have done it before). It will kinda be forcing me to exercise which will be good as I like to achieve things and challenges make me want to work harder to "win". I love competing against myself.
I just thought I would mention it in case you were interested in it too. It's okay if not. You maybe don't need a crash course in saving like i do.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Oh but I do, my debt had stayed roughly the same for a couple of years then increased over the last 12 months, although going from a shared household budget to living alone will tend to do that on a small salary in Surrey!
I've looked at it but don't really understand it, although I was tipsy at the time, will have to have another look. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I think it is just a set of goals that you try and achieve throughout the month of october. So you set yourself a budget and stick to it.
* shopping budget for the month.
* write down everything you spend.
* 18 spend-free days. (I am going to class this as not spending any money at all).
* £3 worth of food to be donated to the local food bank.
* packed lunches and "homemade" coffee. (basicaly don't buy anything).
* if you have any social events, budget for them.
* Don't drink any alcohol.
* 20 minutes of exercise three times a day.
* beauty spends can't be above £10 for the month.
I think that is it, although ninjasaving kat has said that the rules might change for october. But it sounds like fun anyways.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

They all look fairly do-able
shopping budget - nil, Dad does it :rotfl:
Spend free days might be tricky if I'm doing mystery shopping work but I guess spends there won't count as long as I'm spending under the reimbursement level.
Donating to the local food bank - ok so best make my shopping budget £3 next month
If I'm still not working then eating and drinking at home is a given, if I get a job then I'll have to put some thought in to it.
Exersize 20 mins x3 per day
Don't need any beauty stuff as I've a decent sized stash from stuff I've bought on offer or doing m.s work still to use up.
Today I've actually made progress with some stuff.
Been to register with the local GP, got a new patient appointment this evening.
Been in to a nearby town to pick up the freebie Body Shop Hand Cream from vouchercodes - will ebay it.
Bought my Dad 32 assorted plates and bowls, cost £92, of which £46 was paid with vouchers, the rest I paid with my debit card. Dad has transferred the cash in to my bank account but it's showing as pending. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

New patient appointment went as well as expected. Blood pressure is fine, I'm about 3 inches short for my weight but only at the upper end of the healthy BMI range.
I've also done some more surveys so have £4 heading for my paypal account early next week thanks to one and possibly a test product thanks to another - more pennies saved on Dad's shopping bill. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

*facepalm*

Hehe I guessed as much - but was thinking in my world getting out of bed counts as exersize just now so it would be fine anyway
Its plain white plates and bowls, I suspect even he couldnt dislike it when he wanted plain white plates and bowls....and if he'd dared to say a word otherwise I'd have smashed the bloomin things over his head (in a few days when my arms stop aching from carrying them across the town centre).
Spent some of this evening outfit planning for my weekend away am out with some of my military/ex military friends so need to balance carefully the need to be feminine enough to con locals out of booze but not too girly to scare the guys since they tend to forget I'm a girl until I do something silly like turn up to a rugby match in a bikini, hiking boots and waterproof coat.
