Nope that would have definitely ruled out seeing him again! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

What? The protection? I suppose it's not that flattering...

That would be yesterday afternoon.
Todays plan has been put on hold due to a combination of him having to go in to work and the fact that when he'd finished it started to rain. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

So not exactly loads of notice then. But next time, you'll be able to pre-moisturise...scubaangel wrote: »Todays plan has been put on hold due to a combination of him having to go in to work and the fact that when he'd finished it started to rain.
Working on a Sunday - that's a bit rough. Is he a friend of a friend or something?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Or something.
So far today I've achieved very little, nowhere near target on swagbucks, nothing crediting on insta and no surveys to be found anywhere. So I really should be getting more stuff listed on ebay but motivation is lacking somewhat. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Sent money to a friend as my contribution towards my friends wedding pressie, have also sent cheques to her for my hotel room and the known costs of the hen do (the only extra will be travel, which will depend on where I travel from, and alcohol for the weekend).
Working through a job application slowly, but it seems to want practially an essay in answer to every question - but then it is a role which needs you to not be a complete idiot so understandably necessary. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Good news today, applied for three jobs last night, one phone call this morning = an interview tomorrow, a random faceache message from a friend because she does the job I've applied for at another so will put in good words with the manager, and nothing from the other. Although I did get a rejection from one I applied for a couple of weeks ago which is nice, acknowledgement is so rare! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

And to balance out the last post, yesterday ended rather badly.
My car is currently minus one wing mirror and a considerable quantity of paint from the drivers side thanks to some !!!! driving too fast and over the centre line who then didn't feel the need to stop.
So thats going to cost me my policy excess of £350, which frankly I feel utterly gutted about having to pay since it wasn't my fault.
It's also making getting to my interview very tricky today - the venue is nowhere near public transport and in a town a 45 min drive from home or over an hour on the train, then a 30+ minute walk as I can find no evidence of bus routes near by. I also can't get hold of the interviewer to try and reschedule.
