Subtle difference between sticking a dam across a valley above sea level and people who live at or below sea level being surprised when it's been unusually wet that the water backfills the below sea level bits temporarily....

True but if they don't its a pain having to remember which active ingredient they were to not take that one again.

Alas, it's getting a bit beyond temporary. Though I have seen a number of interviews which say that now the Home Counties are getting a bit soggy - Something Will Be Done...

    Cynical? Moi? :A

If the tablet doesn't work - throw the blister packs out. Keep the cardboard if you can't remember which tablets are which.

Not at all, well much, not like they sent some of my friends in the fire service south this week to help the flood relief efforts in Surrey. Oh hang on, they did, leaving behind a fire in a recycling centre which is making Manchester City centre smell vile.

Swimming went well this evening, earphones stayed firmly in place and I swam 80 lengths/2000m in 55 minutes.

Oh dear, bit of a typo there - you missed out the word "more".

How did the run around the reservoir go?

Nah city centre isnt too bad these days if you can avoid getting too close to the locals.

Skipped the run, as I'd forgotten it was Wednesday and swimming day, but my new trainers arrived in the post so I did go out and run a mile or so on the road to try them out. They feel good which is a relief.

They should feel good - it's what you should be buying them for.

    Hopefully...

No I just avoid going in to the city centre unless I absolutely have to!

Yup running shoes which don't feel good are pointless, these are a good fit and felt nice and bouncy.

Feeling nice and bouncy is good in many situations...

It's a sad reflection on my life that I have no idea what else you might be referring to.

Completed another foresty people survey, and worked out how to cash out on the new system, so have another £4 headed towards my paypal account.

Received £3 in to it from mysurvey this afternoon which means there should be about £10 in there waiting to be withdrawn.

Ebay is still looking somewhat hopeless, only two of my current items have bids for the start price, and a couple more have watchers but no bids but it'll be a couple more dvd's out of the house (along with a couple more envelopes from the stash and likely some of the stamps from the box too).
