One day that will happen to you (if you let it) and it won't be sickening then.

That's a good thing - nice to hear of.scubaangel wrote: »Also just logged in to my dooyoo account to find the review I wrote the other day has been awarded a crown (and the bonus miles) thanks to people recommending it. First one since I got back in to review writing on there so am chuffed.

As long as it's not sickening I don't mind the concept of it, the reality, I get bored.

True, looking back through my older reviews almost all the ones which have been crowned are ones related to swimming/diving, maybe I ought to stick to reviewing sports kit. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I take it that the reality isn't: You love him, he loves you, you do stuff together which you both really enjoy - you love him even more, he loves you even more?
That's not boring surely?

Probably people can see your interest and attention to detail coming through. As opposed to "Cornflakes. They're sort of yellow and crunchy. Except after milk when they're yellow and soggy." :rotfl:"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

More like I get bored of having my own man shaped puppy dog following my every suggestion as though it was a command. Terribly dull.
Y'know I've never reviewed cornflakes but that one requires more information, but if you add taste and price it'd be perfect. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

That's just not being imaginative enough with your suggestions. All sorts of fun could be had...

Now that's always been something that's perplexed me - how do you describe taste?

Not a clue, its why I rarely write food reviews.
Used to do alot of book and DVD reviews which is something I really ought to get back in to the habit of as I still read so much, may as well make some money from my biggest addiction! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Well ideally, you'd want the reviews and the ebaying to more than cover the cost of purchase - there's a target for you."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

But I don't know the purchase prices, unless I work from the current prices and that just sounds like hard work! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
