Argghhhhhh!
Just spent ages typing out recipe for pakoras and youghurt curry and stoopid machine lost it!!!
Anyway have to go and pick up little 'un so can't redo them!
Basically use the leaves as substitute or as well spinach in recipes like pakoras (bhajis) and Saag Aloo.
If you want the recipes, will post again when I get the chance!0 -
OH is in the middle of making soup with cauliflower but he was asking what to do with the leaves, any suggestions??A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it start to rain.0

Either put them in the soup or compost themEverything in moderation..............including moderation..............0

Give them to a rabbit/gunie pig or hampster0

I do not have a compost heap so throw them in the bin.
By the way , never eat rhubarb leaves - they are poisonous - which is why they are normally now sold without them."This site is addictive!"

I sometimes stick them in the stock pot for vegetable stock, depending on what else I have around.0

I usually add them to the pot when I cook my cauliflower. Or you could add them to a stir fry or add them to a vegetable stock mix.Enjoying an MSE OS life0
