Just picked up the vax s88-w1m-b from Upton Wirral showing four of the cheap ones in stock along with half price quilt cover on buy one get one half price and was given £5 gift voucher even though I used £20 nector points

Are the mop cover thingies (technical term) lol on offer anywhere as I would like to use a separate one for the bathroom and the kitchen

B&M sell a 5 pack for, I think, £4ish. I got some and now don't know which one is the proper vax one

I'm so glad someone posted that this is not a glitch and is a legitimate product replacement (personally don't do glitches).

I got mine yesterday. It's an S88-w1m not an s87-t2. Hopes it's not a lesser model!

Thanks OP. Picked up mine today - received the white S88-w1m model. SA didn't even comment that it wasn't the same brand as on my receipt. Not opened it as putting away for Christmas.

I've managed to order one at my local store for collection tomorrow. How will I know that I've got the vax one? Is it in a vax box etc?

Yes, mine was in its original Vax box. You don't know which one you are getting until they bring it out though. I paid on the self service machine and wasn't warned of any possible substitution.
