UPDATE - The website content is now being removed. - UPDATE

The homepage pretty much covers what has already been said on this thread but with images. The "My Story" page includes the whole story including copies of emails sent and received plus recordings of conversations we had with M and S about the mis-selling. We know most people won't want to read the whole saga so I did my best to sum it up on the homepage, but even that is pretty long - it is hard to sum it up because there are so many twists and turns.

If you would like to share it on Facebook, Twitter, blogs, or whatever that would be great. Hopefully the more people know the less people will trust Keepmoat. I think it is obvious from our website that Keepmoat have real issues with telling the truth and keeping promises. I really don't want anyone else to go through what we have - the whole thing has really had an effect on both of us mentally. I think you can only take so much before you crack.
  • you may find an even nicer house than that and be grateful in time to come you didn't buy there!
sometimes, i believe doors shut because you're not meant to go there!
  • The house looks really stupid because they built it the wrong way around.
  • I was trying to listen to the recorded conversatons but they don7t work. Click and nothing happens.

RHS - I'm guessing you mean right hand side. We thought that Plot would be better and quieter than the ones on Falsaff Road (I'm assuming that's the houses you mean).

The siteplan doesn't show it but there are houses on the other side of the road, it's not open space. Plus Falstaff is a long straight road and it's Parson Cross. Those two things generally mean boy racers, although we only ever saw one bloke driving down it like an idiot but we didn't want to take the risk in case there were more.

Plus those plots were available before Plot 42 and we didn't think we would be able to complete our house sale in time to get one/we also liked the fact that plot 42 had the bigger garden.

I also thought I must have made a post in my sleep until I realised that my husband used my account to post last night!:)

Just a quick update - still no word from Keepmoat. They have had longer to investigate the complaint than they gave us to sell our house!

Over the last three days Keepmoat's solicitors have been regular visitors to our website - I'm thinking Keepmoat aren't too keen on it.

Another update. Had a tweet from the Sheffield Housing Company (a partnership between Sheffield Council, Keepmoat and Great Places to build 2000ish houses across Sheffield).

They advised that Keepmoat are hoping to get back to us today.

Seriously? Tweeting is not an appropriate form for them to be communicating with you about your dispute

I was just looking through your website. I might do one myself as I'm having a bit of a battle with taylor wimpey at the moment
  • Warning.....Keep visiting the site once you have reserved, things change for a reason. most developers ask the purchaser to look at plans etc and sign a reservation checklist to say they have, also a disclaimer incase due to planning issue things change, Dont be afraid to ask questions at reservation. and at any stage before completion.Plans and drawings are not easy to read etc no shame in asking questions, the sales people should make you an appointment with the site manager as normal.visit the site often and view your plot.Dont presume even if you buy the same type as showhome that your property will be the same chances are its not.DONT exchange before YOU are happy with everything.
