how much spending money?

can anyone help at all. 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 6) going to Salou next week. how much spending money will we roughly need? we are half board and plan to go to the theme park once or twice. it doesnt seem much cheaper to buy park tickets here so will just wait and buy them over there. will mainly be in hotel pool and they have a small play area so kids young enough to be kept happy, trip to beach etc. i was thinking of buying some diluting juice and water over there to try and keep costs of juice all day down. will 100 euros a day be enough? first family holiday abroad.
thanks all

Hi, Im not sure if 100 euros a day would be enough for me, we go to Tenerife for 7 days and there will be 2 adults and 1 child, we are taking 1500 euros with us, but then we are not half board.
everything is pretty costly over there depending on what you like to do. Id probably take a bit more just in case. Or at least take a card with you.0 -
sorry should have added, we going to take £400-£500 sterling and will take a card too bbut hoping to not need to use either. We are not big drinkers so doubt we will even have a drink as have the kids, wont be out late as kids will be worn out during the day and need bed, DH and I will be happy to sit on our balcony while LO's sleep. We really dont plan to do much in the way of trips etc apart from the theme park. I dont go on holiday to scrimp and save and say no to the kids if they ask for things, think its hard to know what to expect as they have never been abroad. DH and I went on holiday while the kids were away last year and we ate all every day and drank and bought some things and we spent roughly 100 euros per day, hence my assumptions.0

We don't have little ones any more so I'm maybe not up to speed with their demands and the costs thereof but ............
We go SC to Spain, Canaries etc. 3 or 4 times a year.
We live pretty well on 100€/day for the two of us, I would have thought being HB that the same figure for all of you would be more than ample
Maybe add in the cost of the theme park on top to be sure.
EDIT:
Just to clarify, by SC, I mean we eat out every meal0 -
I think it'll be plenty, especially as you have the back up of a card if needed and are eating half board. I know you don't want to deprive the LOs but I think a visit to a supermarket for drinks and snacks (and maybe a bottle of wine for you and DH on the balcony;)) is a great idea. You'll probably see people helping themselves to rolls etc. at breakfast for a picnic lunch. I think it's the law!:D0

like maman suggests, when we were in Salou we found it much cheaper to stock up on supplies at the local mini mart. Fortunately our hotel room had a fridge so we could chill drinks etcknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Its hard for anyone who doesnt know you to say how much you will spend. You may be the sort that 2 meals a day is fine and you mainly drink water that you'll be happy buying from the local supermarket. Alternatively you may want to have a lot of cocktails/ drinks day and night long and have your 2nd prepaid meal at lunch and eat out every night.
€100 a day could be absolutely fine or you could blow your weeks budget in the first day.
Also, are you including transport in that? How are you getting to/ from the airport? How are you getting to the theme park?0 -
I'd be surprised if you could find orange squash - very much a british invention
Locals drink orange juice which is not expensive, or water0 -

our airport transfers are all included and the theme park is a 10 minute walk from our hotel.0 -

in that case i might stick a bottle in our suitcase. kids will drink water but will drink more if its squash.
