no crocodile tears about Russia please

In the run-up to the Iraq war, Halliburton was awarded a $7 billion contract for which 'unusually' only Halliburton was allowed to bid.

!!!!!! Cheney. Cheney retired from the company during the 2000 U.S. presidential election campaign with a severance package worth $36 million.[

Everyone knows Cheney was dirty. Very old news

Perhaps I am naive but I thought that we were skint as a nation with massive debt. How can we afford to keep paying out for these invasions or bombing of other countries. I think Cameron has lost the plot.

and now we are skint on moral authority. Esp if He uses more chemical weapons. After all, we've given him a Green Light.

    Cheers David.

America government treat us like a third world lackeys the best contracts went to American companies after the Iraq war.

How many times do we have to say, Cheney was a bent greedy gint?

And how bad is it that is all you care about- the spoils of war?

where is your empathy for the victims. Disgrace.

There's no morality in international politics, at best there is spin an d manipulation of the media, which is the reason why caution about the source of the attack is wise, western intervention would theoretically benefit the rebels so its in their interest surely?

There's no concern about the constant wars ongoing in Africa and no suggestion of western intervention in Zimbabwe, drc, Somalia etc. because they aren't of geopolitical significance as the middle east is.

This is notwithstanding the effects of previous interventions, from Iraq to Afghanistan the consequences of international intervention have left the average e local worse off, if not dead.

I do not care about the spoils of war I was just pointing out that the American government do not have any respect for us as a nation as has been proven in the past. I care about victims on both sides but I feel the Arab nations should assist in sorting out this civil war.
